album is coming October, but I think vinyl is just later.
Damn a 5 month preorder, thought we were mostly past this. I guess epitaph doesn’t have enough scratch to get the ball rolling a bit in advance of taking the customer’s money.

Either they are expecting a big vinyl delay or that store missed with the album release date, the album is on Apple Music now with the same October 13 date as mentioned before. These guys have done Friday the 13th themed videos and merch before so it seems pretty bang on.

2+ years later and they finally got the comic LP into customer’s hands. Pretty lack luster bare bones release that probably wouldn’t have felt disappointing at all if it had shipped remotely close to the target date.

Dispute the charge. You may wind up having to explain to a bank employee the difference between LP and 12” but they are technically advertising a 4 track EP on 12” vinyl as an LP so it should be sufficient grounds for a chargeback.

This hobby is way too expensive now, takes up too much space and sucks ass if you need to move. If you’re OK with all of those things then stick with it. And then yea just listen when you can/feel like it. There’s no right answer to how often you should be listening to your records.

Lol relax records get delayed all the time and you usually don’t get shit in return. This 20 year old music will be on your turntable eventually and it will still be the same songs you’ve heard a bunch of times.

Well yea… but most records are insanely priced now. If you just break down the box to 6 LPs at $199 then it’s less than $34 per LP which is pretty normal for 2023. Add in that not only will record nerds want this but so will cartoon nerds who normally don’t give a shit about records and it becomes the prime time to crank the price.

The 10 year anni shows I’ve been to this year (Jar and Youth) have been PACKED and everyone has been so fucking hyped. Sucks some of these bands have to resort to playing their big albums to consistently sellout shows but I’m glad they’re getting some money and recognition now.

Album title is correct and the song is already streaming on Apple Music/Spotify probably elsewhere (it rips). August 18 is the release date. If the RFC magic circle variant is any good I just might re-up for 3 months for Fiddlehead.

Safe to assume they finally oversaturated the marketplace with this $50 joke album no one actually wants to listen to more than once.
