As for HoneyFrosted I don't think you were hugged enough as a child and tend to take your passive aggressive angst out on people that mean you no harm. No worries, I appreciate the replies even if they aren't helpful and mostly full of your self-esteem issues and projecting. 

So far all I have seen from this board is a bunch of PO threads and some people crying about my thread and/or YouTube video. Seems like a bunch of passive aggressive crybabies to me. If there really is such a problem with people posting YouTube videos then go ahead and show me some examples of other people posting some OC that gets rage like this.
 
I enjoy the positive criticism I have received from a few people here (mostly in private-- not a good sign), but to be honest this place seems like a worse circle jerk than reddit from what I've experienced so far.
 
I came here expecting a nice chill place to talk about music, rare records, and trading but all I've received thus far is millennial angst.

TBH I think this price point is fair as it will support a struggling online indie music shop, Disney Music, as they fight to bring an up and coming indie music conductor, John Williams, and his music to the masses......

this.  The number of people I see on here ordering from online shops (amazon especially!) just to save a couple bucks or to preorder a title that will be widely available is always a sad thing to see.  Indie shops need our support, I love my store.. i go there  a few times a week to check out the new/used inventory and have pulled some gems out of there.  Yeah, i order online from time to time, but only if its limited and my shop won't/can't get it in.

I really value VC cutting through all the crud to just give you the basic info about releases that seems to get drowned out\confused on the internet. Having a very wide taste in music I fully support all genres of POs being posted here. Thanks again.

OP remember this: even if by the end of its spool your project turns out to be duplicate waste, at least you tried to create something. The problem with VC is they get a hurt pussy when there's no Brand New involved, and most seem like they couldn't write a line of code if they wanted to, so advertising anything here is a waste of time

I made a comment similar in the Daft Punk thread, but some people seem to confused as to the definition of what flipping is.

Flipping is buying and then reselling something in the short term. People reselling those Red House Painter boxes before the individual reissues hit, that's flipping.

Selling a record that's been OOP for a few years isn't. Assuming you are selling where the market is, that's just selling. Maybe you can call it gouging, but it's not flipping. I only bring up the semantics because it would resolve a bit of the debate in the thread about what is considered flipping and whats not. 

Is it flipping to auction off a record at a 1$ starting price and letting the mob decide on how much it goes for?

If you are an individual, in your late 20s or early 30s, then you are a flipper.
 
If you are older than 40 and pay rent for a retail rathole in some sad town in the middle of nowhere, then you are a record store owner.

Then why bring it up?

Holy Fire was a big album for me (ahh, the drums and the box set sold out less than a week after release, once everyone lost their shit to it and realised it was a must have. I ordered the box set for this album with the quickness as I don't want to regret it when it's gone. Would like to see them live again, especially as this LP purports to be pretty aggressive, but as they're local lads tickets for the home shows always disappear so fast.

I don't get these cunts at 4AD.  Do they hate money?  Why not make it limited to 5,000 mail-order only and it would still have sold out in one day.  

It's all the same release. 1500 worldwide... Probably (if I'm guessing) a breakdown of 1000 to EU stores for RSD, 400 for U.S. shops, and the 100 already sold for PO.
 
Come summertime 4AD should release the individual albums, probably on standard black vinyl. I'd be surprised if they pressed another (non-limited) box set as well, but it could happen.
 
Obviously 4AD won't officially announce the individual releases now, as they need to enable flippers keep demand high.

I've been rabidly calling record stores all morning and they all said they are checking their distributor and they are all lucky to even get 1 if any at all and don't have any more details

This sounds like it could have been straight lifted from the last Broken Bells LP. Which is a good thing.
