  1. Stream is out for this now. Sounds alright, but still not essential so far. http://www.decibelmagazine.com/featured/streaming-pelicans-arktika/
  2. Ouch. At least he doesn't stitch together 50 takes for the drum track of one song.
  3. It would be awesome if this was some indication that a new album is already planned called Electricity Is Dangerous. Even better if they sounded like a version of themselves that would fit with 80/90s Touch and Go releases (it's a stretch my mind is making for some reason, sure would piss off a lot of fans too).
  4. Educate yerself: http://ironreagan.bandcamp.com/album/spoiled-identity-ep
  5. Decibel EP ruled, just as all their other stuff has. I'll wait a bit to preorder though. Also sucks Ryan is only noted for Darkest Hour. He's drummed for way better bands.
  6. I do kinda wish they didn't mess with (Pink) Mammoth. The Demo/EP version was perfect. It makes me wish sometimes the dudes never started to learn music theory. They were steamrolling listeners without it.
  7. This is seriously the most beautiful gold colored vinyl, and some of the best packaging. Large double-sided poster, 2 inserts, inner jacket print, gold ink. This is how I want a 2xLP done if it is going to be $26-30. Loving the Decline and Fall material too.
  8. Just force new listeners to listen to the full version of March into the Sea, then Australasia, catch them up with the latest, and let them go from there. Curious to see what this is. Live dvd was enough live for me. Still when I've seen them in person drums are just ignored background noise to the guitars.
  9. I'm liking this pretty well. Tempted to add in the shirt and buttons for RC.
  10. Had forgotten about that, but now I really want it again too now that I'm reminded of it. Hope it doesn't go the way of the Converge dvd which has still yet to be released as far as I know. Longer production times than most major movies take.
  11. Weird not hearing about this through Sheath. Wish I hadn't slept on getting Dogs. Nothing has yet to hit me like O Canada, though, but I like all their work.
  12. That sucks. Never had a problem except the last time I ordered, and that was on ups or whatever losing my package. They sent a new one right out.
  13. Awesome bump because there's a Syd Barrett 3 album bundle for ~$53 today for the next 30 minutes http://www.popmarket.com/details/29968457?feature_id=29965772 Weak bump, cause I'm begging for codes. Anyone?
  14. Might hold out. Heroin on record was the first time I heard it, and It put me in a heavy trance. Such a great and unexpected experience.
  15. Sorry. Their backcatalog definitely need a repress along with a pressing of that split with you.may.die.in.the.desert.
  16. Last chance bump before these hit some combo of ebay and a local record store.
  17. Never really gave these guys a chance. Sounds like I need to. The heavy tone with the Louisville influence is cool.
  18. Could be as simple as all acoustic like they did with the 12 days of MEtN. No matter what, I'm interested.
  19. Wow, that was fast. I was going to try to do something tomorrow, but these are great. The more I think of it, original works like these would probably fall under "derivative works," especially these since they only use suggestion of characters in two. I could be wrong. I've really been itching to do something for the Decibel flexi series. I wonder if there would be any interest in that? I still want to contact the magazine about it. Dream case scenario could be a licensing deal haha.
  20. Thought Pinkerton was only $8.59 for a second. That would be a ridiculous steal.
