We are waiting for everything to be finalized with shipping, returns, damages, etc, (which have been minimal to my understanding) and will see where we stand with leftover inventory. We had some orders canceled due to overselling stock when the store crashed and have already gotten some of the leftover copies into the hands of those that had canceled orders on the tail end.
 
either way, it won’t be a ton of stock...

This is gonna be the last time I post until I have the tests approved and these are officially in production to give an update for the people that are patiently waiting.
 
I know what's it's like to wait that long for a pre-order. It fucking blows. We ran into some hangups and it's finally on it's way. This is my first go around. No one that has asked for a refund has been denied. I never said I'm a "popular" member I said I was an active member. I'm very unhappy with the way things have gone as well. I'm just asking people to hang in there because I know that it will be great once it's arrived and things will be 100% the next go around. Anytime I post people just take jabs at me so it's hard for me to just sit there and take it. I love these boards and I love everyone on them.  I encourage anyone that's upset to come meet me in person. I've met many people from the boards and have even made some life-long friends from them.
 
Also this isn't my pressing. I didn't setup the pre-order. I'm strictly having create input on the album so that the standards are up to collector's values. That's why I'm being so defensive. Please just hang in there. If the product isn't up to standards when it arrives then I won't do it anymore. I don't want to anyone to be disappointed anymore.

Yellow# 1449 and Black# 153 came in yesterday.

My theory is a factory employee got hungry and thought no one would notice a small bite missing from several copies. His manager Talbot walks in, holding a red thermos filled with piping hot breakfast soup, the eggs still bubbling and small bits of bacon swimming up to the surface. Talbot looks towards his employee Reynaldo, mouth full of cardboard and hard vinyl, and gasps. “We don’t allow this,” Talbot whispers. They are new plates we made with the universal masters. They weren’t remastered specifically for vinyl or anything like that (that’s a whole different league with dealing with majors) but the tests sound great!

Black should be 1-500
Yellow should be 501-1500
 
Of course with the underages I’m not entirely sure if they picked up the yellow copies at 501 or 485. I guess time will tell as people continue to post photos. Also Fuck underages I’m so annoyed that our last two releases had underages after always having  overages.

I have the upmost respect for FDR going after flippers and then redistributing the copies to folks that had orders cancelled cause of oversell.

The way you worded your question was not asking “Since the record are 180 gram and most likely to come shrink-wrapped, will you honor requests through your fulfillment company to have them shipped outside of the jacket?”

We are very communicative label and open to any and all feedback but that was not constructive criticism.
 
If you order a record and want it shipped differently then I’m sure we can figure something out!

This is not a reimagined album. This is a repress of Ocean Avenue in all its glory. 
 
The records are finished and on a boat to the states. Once they arrive we’ll get our promo photos up and announce the album properly and go on sale shortly thereafter (probably a week from the official announcement).

As much as I love those records I doubt that we will go after them but who knows. We’ve literally been working on this one since may of 2019. It’s been a slow and arduous process with the pandemic.
