I think it's more expressing individual opinions than arguing about music. Which is totally normal for a community.
Yes, I think there are a bunch of people who are way too hard on Blink, but that is their opinion and they have the right to hold that opinion. People will undoubtedly disagree with such opinions and they will likely let that be known. It is the natural course that music communities take. There's nothing wrong with normal civil debates about music.
However saying childish things like "this made me vomit" is unnecessary and though it expresses an opinion of distaste it doesn't really do so in a constructive or specific way. I'm all for criticism as long as it has some semblance of intelligence and analysis behind it rather than just spewing negativity.

Big fat meh, I love Blink. But this just sounds like 5 songs that didn't make the cut from Neighborhoods. When I heard they dropped their label I was fully expecting a crappy pop punk Blink ep, pretty bummed.

Just went to their online store. Does any band have worse shirt and merchandise design than Blink 182?
Makes me want to wear a 21st Century Breakdown shirt.

Rise Against's Revolutions Per Minute for me. I was 11. Strung Out and No Use right after that.
Around that same time I was in the music section at Best Buy looking around, at a Beastie Boys album specifically. A younger guy (early 20's) noticed me looking at it and started up a conversation about what type of music I was into and discouraged me from buying that one. He brought me over to a Pennywise album and strongly recommended picking that up. We chatted a bit more before he left, and as I sat there in awe over what an awesome guy I had just talked to, he came back in with a stack of roughly 20 CD's from his car he wanted to pass on to a cool dude. I listened to those CD's for years.
He really changed my life that day, and it will always be something that I remember. I've always wanted to pass on what he did for me to someone else.
