  1. During the Euclid Records sale over the weekend: Damien Rice - Live at Fingerprints Hatfield & the North - The Rotter's Club Cressida - Cressida Magma - Mekanik Destruktwi Kommandon
  2. At the truly wonderful Double Decker Records: Deltron 3030 (op) Fantasy - Paint a Picture Matthew Sweet - 100% Fun Ange - Au Dela Du Delire Would've been double that haul if I didn't have to catch a plane (that ended up being delayed anyway).
  3. They have a quarterly (or so) record show in St. Louis I go to. It was great when I was building my collection, but, like others have noted, it has gotten less useful as time goes on, though on one visit I bought Electro-Shock Blues and New Adventures in Hi-Fi for a total of $40 from the same guy, so I keep going hoping he'll show up again with more absurdly low priced gems. No luck . . .
  4. In the end, I just couldn't pull the trigger with the repress looming and the dent Double Decker was already going to put in my wallet. Phenomenal store though. I travel a lot and stop into a lot of stores when I can and it was top five in terms of finding great stuff you don't often see for fair prices. Highly recommend (sorry for the digression).
  5. There's a copy of the OP at a shop where I am for $100. I love this album and am tempted to pick it up despite the repress.
  6. Vintage Vinyl in St. Louis has a ton of the /800 versions, for those interested. Picked one up today.
  7. Pitchfork cites a rep saying it's official. http://pitchfork.com/news/52230-death-grips-mysteriously-release-no-love-deep-web-vinyl/
  8. I love this album, but I'm not ordering it out of principle. I'm just not sure what principle.
  9. Please. Someone. The Snake The Cross The Crown - Cotton Teeth
  10. Please. Someone. The Snake The Cross The Crown - Cotton Teeth
  11. How many more copies of Sever Your Roots am I gonna talk myself into buying? At least one more maybe - I like your clear/black better than mine. Just watching (for now).
  12. Also, I see that the eBay listings say the clear pressing is /750. Is that verified?
  13. Picked up a copy today at the Record Collector in Iowa City while in town for the night. Owner said to me, "You know that doesn't exist, right?" Gonna have to wait to see if Bound 2 is on it.
  14. I've got a copy I'd be willing to shed. Hit me up if you're insterested.
  15. Is this actually out of print? I feel like for awhile I saw it in every record shop I went to.
  16. This week: Woods - Bend Beyond Peter Buck - El Rei do Los Monos Presente! (7") The World is a Beautiful Place . . . - Whenever if Ever (2nd press - clear green) Marc Cohn - Marc Cohn Liz Phair - Exile in Guyville (original pressing)
  17. Only been to about five of these, but I travel for work, so hoping to scratch off some more (though the foreign ones are pretty unlikely). Thumbs down on Forever Young - I spent a serious amount of time there there one time I was there and while I found a couple nice things, it doesn't even make my top twenty record stores experiences, the prices are unreasonble, and the staff always struck me as the least knowlegable/involved that I've encountered. I've always used this list as the one I really want to get through, thought it's a little out of date - http://www.rollingstone.com/music/pictures/the-best-record-stores-in-the-usa-20100916
  18. It's hard for me to go over $100, but I've done it for the Neutral Milk Hotel boxed set (which was over $100 with shipping). Other than that, I think right at $100 for De-Loused and a test press of Felix Culpa's Sever Your Roots and $75 for the original press of Summerteeth.
  19. Thanks for the reminder. Missed this the first time around and thrilled to pick these up.
