That makes sense. Basement has a massive following. Does Alex from basement still work at RFC? I haven’t followed record labels as closely as I used to.

Just got into the band literally this morning. New album is a banger. Sullenboy is great. Are they a pretty big band? 10k pressing seems huge for an RFC band

Revisiting this album since they just released the Digital Ghost version. Watched some of those vids on YouTube and the visuals are great. I will say again, the heavy parts of this record are so good. The “pop” parts of these newer albums are what people aren’t enjoying I think. I just want another heavy/experimental album from them. Pneumonia is still my favorite track on this album.

Got my copy Monday. Finally got around to giving it a spin and it sounds fantastic. I’m doubling down on my first impressions of this album. It’s so great. I don’t love the last track but it’s okay. Other than that I think this is on par with EIABH. Sunshine, Digital Self, Something Good, and Cigarette Two Step are my favorite tracks.

ST held a special place in my heart back then. Can’t see myself ever owning any of this on vinyl. Just not my cup of tea anymore but ST was probably their best work.

Not stupid at all. My copy of Another Language was so bad that I actually stopped listening to their music. I was appalled they would even let something like that out to the public and charge money for it. My copy sounded like gravel. You can’t even hardly hear the music. It turned me off to them so much and I’ve not been around to listen again since.

Man I can’t disagree more. I’m almost through my first whole play through and this is fucking great. Cigarette Two Step was a banger and I love that they kind of went I bit harder. I think I’m only going to like it more with subsequent play throughs. Can’t wait for my copy to come in.

Never owned a copy of this. Got the Brooklyn Vegan variant. Anyone know why they have the Revolver exclusive?

All 3 singles are so good. Can’t wait for this. I saw that the European exclusive is blue and white galaxy. There is a typical black, the band exclusive is the blue/red splatter swirl whatever, and the indie eco mix. Is there any other variants I missed

New song is good. The last minute and a half is great with that drum beat and the guitar picking. I won’t pre order but happy to listen when it’s released.

Fuck yeah. Ordered the splatter. I have a coke bottle copy already but I will always support their stuff. I’ve been listening to this pretty much off and on since it came out. In pretty heavy rotation this year. One of my top albums of all time and Eastern Leaves may be in my top 3 songs of all time. This is one of those albums that hits all the right emotions and feelings for me. Quick side story about the band. I saw/heard them for the first time on a small stage at warped tour one summer. I was blown away. I immediately went to their merch tent after the show and I think Greg was there. I had on an Oceana shirt and we both geeked out about how good their , at the time, new EP Clean Head was. It was rad and I’ve loved them ever since. Glad more people will have a chance to get their hands on this record. Wish they would get in the studio and do more stuff, even if that means they aren’t officially a touring band anymore. New music would be so good.

I feel like Spencer and Aaron’s vocals are stuck in the 2000s or something. That’s the best way I can explain it. They still sound like 18-20 year olds. It’s a shame too because musically the other members could make some cool shit. This stuff is just garbage. I’d love a full album like Casting Such A Thin Shadow. Just unleash Tim and Chris and let them make a great post rock album. Unfortunately James isn’t in the band anymore.

I was never able to get into this band but this album has such a weird draw to it. I’m really liking it. It’s so different than other bands in this space. Sort of reminds me of what weatherbox was doing.

They came back to release this single? Doesn’t even sound like Anberlin. Hope the album is better than this.

Oh man so excited for this one. EIABH is one of my favorite albums right now.
