Here are my rules,
1) eat a hearty breakfast
2) jumping jacks and push ups before the show. (got to stay loose for the pit)
3) show up early and hang out front and act like you don't care.
4) have a clean shirt in the car/bag/whatever. ( don't want to match anyone else, lame!)
5) talk as loud as possible while smoking or standing around between bands. ( everyone wants to know your opinion on several different topics!)
6) make fun of someone younger or new to the scene. ( it makes you look cool and well, you have been around longer)
7) leave early to go to a shitty party
8) post on the internet about how the show was lame and you don't know why people like that band anymore.

if your friends are annoyed than they arnt really that good of friends, who gives a shit what you post it takes less than half a second to scroll past it and it's what YOU like, it's your Instagram.

This one is incredible, one of the best guitars I've ever had and it plays super well. I do have another Jag that's exactly as you described though - the bridge unit was terrible so I swapped it out for a Mustang type which is a lot better. I never use the tremolo systems on either. This one is used in my sludge/doom band so it's set up for super heavy strings and tuned to either B or Ab (you can probably see the string thickness in the photo)- holds low tunings very well and sounds huge.

Read on VC that someone bought a Circa Survive Violent Waves box set but didn't receive the hand painted jacket.  Somehow I got two in my order.  Decided to give the extra to him at cost of shipping.
 
Our local vinyl shop for RSD is pretty small, so for rare titles that there's only one copy of we raffle instead of fighting over them inside the store.  I won the raffle for ATDI - Relationship of Command but noticed this little dude (had to be less than 10 and had this rad Ramones shirt and long metal-esque hair) was really bummed so I gave it to him.

I wanted to post Smokey Robinson today but I seemed to have misplaced the one I have. Instead of Talib or Dirtbombs again or whatever, I went with...FUNKADELIC.

day 8 was fun, had to draw up a shortlist of what I wanted to post! Ended up with Nick Cave and Beastie Boys.

At least on the EU version, the sticker on the shrinkwrap specifically states that the color is grey (not silver).

Yeah... am I missing something? If it's a bootleg is it even allowed to be pre-ordered/sold through an online shop?
 
I love vinyl and all but can't see the appeal with this. I picked up my early press of Licensed to Ill for about £9 and it sounds great.

Yeah but... how can you tell people aren't listening to their records just because they took a picture? Taking photos of my stuff is all part of the physical/tactile attraction of collecting vinyl.

Well, if the records are in a wall frame I can understand that they're probably not played. But I guess some people take the photos before/after they spin 'em. I do, anyway. There's more light on my table/shelf unit than there is near my turntable so the photos turn out better. I follow a few people on instagram/tumblr etc that take photos while the record spins and you can't see shit, just a blurry label.

I think my favorite thing about the record a day is that I play each record I post each day. Even though it may not be a picture of me playing the record, I still take the time to spin it.
