FlippingOut
mewithoutYou has posted on their website and Facebook that they will be touring for the 10th anniversary of their album, "Catch For Us The Foxes." Ticket's go on sale Friday, 4/25 and more dates are to be added, they also hinted at "new vinyl soon" spelled out in bold letters throughout the announcement. “Catch for us the Foxes” 10 Year Anniversary Tour Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014 by mewithoutYou in Shows Some of you may have heard of a record we put out on Tooth & Nail Records a little while back called “Catch for us the Foxes.” Well that little while back is going to be 10 years on October 15th of this year. Yes, its hard to believe, we know, it will soon be a full decade of Foxes. It is no secret that the album has been a much-lauded fan favorite of our catalog. And in many ways it is the album that helped launched the career of our band and set us on the path where we find ourselves today. That is why for our 10 Year Anniversary of the album we are going to be celebrating in a couple different ways. The first of which we’d like to announce right now… We will be playing “Catch for us the Foxes” in its entirety, front-to-back, from Torches Together to Son of a Widow at shows on the West Coast and South West this Summer. Joining us will be our new friends The World is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die and Dark Rooms. Here are the dates: Mon, 6-16 Seattle, WA @ Neumo’sTue, 6-17 Portland, OR @ The Hawthorne TheatreThu, 6-19 San Francisco, CA @ Slim’sFri, 6-20 Anaheim, CA @ The Chain ReactionSat, 6-21 San Diego, CA @ The EpicentreSun, 6-22 Los Angeles, CA @ The TroubadourMon, 6-23 Phoenix, AZ @ The Crescent BallroomWed, 6-25 Houston, TX @ Warehouse Live StudioThu, 6-26 Austin, TX @ MohawkFri, 6-27 Dallas, TX @ The Prophet Bar For those of you that know our band, follow us on the road, or just follow us on Instagram. You probably know that we like to change up our set pretty dramatically from night to night. So after the first 46 minutes of the set when we finish the album performance we’ll be playing a short set of various other tunes from our other albums. We are very excited to be able to bring these performances of “Catch for us the Foxes” to you guys and we hope to add more dates later in the year, along with a couple other “special” ways to celebrate. Tickets will go on sale Friday 4/25/14. stillalivetui

kurtz
Makes me feel old that this is 10 years old now. Saw them several times when they were touring in support of this album. Doesn't feel that long ago.

distinctlydustin
I need this record! I saw them during the AB days with Norma Jean and beloved. I'll be going to the Dallas show! Aaron is my hero, sans the dumpster diving.

Doesn't feel that long ago. Ditto So stoked on this repress. Last time it was pressed I kept ALMOST buying it then having something else come up, now it's constantly on discogs for way too much money. But fuck you, west coast. Fuck you. So pissed this tour isn't coming to the Northeast. It's been too long since I made it out to a World is show and when I saw MWY a couple months ago they only played one song off CFUTF. distinctlydustin
they didn't say anything about a repress... It's obvious.
Bladewillisisdead
Press release for a tour commemorating the anniversary of an album with "NEW VINYL SOON" spelled out in bold letters. Sounds like a repress. MWY doesn't seem like the type of band to fuck with people. If this was Brand New doing a Deja Entendu tour with that hidden message I'd be like "It's probably a Daisy repress"
dreamover
It's obvious. how so? usually news announcements like this include the whole announcement. i'm pretty sure they don't have the rights to this record and will not be repressing it. distinctlydustin
Look very closely at the random bolded words in the press release; it is there.
Bladewillisisdead
i didn't see that anywhere. On the band's website or the first post in this thread look at their press release. There are individually bolded letters that spell out "NEW VINYL SOON" It's kinda hard to see on their website, but it's there.
dreamover
ah. i see. well, i wouldn't mind seeing them play this record in chicago. it's the only one i listen to anymore.
batman
pretty ironic that TWIABP name drops MWY in their song 'gig life'
bobbyhotep
I also emailed Gilead Media a couple weeks ago to see if he was planning to repress either of the albums and he said the band is now doing the pressing and should see news soon. I guess this is the news. Fridge Fox
distinctlydustin
Wonder if AB Life has a shot of being repressed as well.
