valve
I'm eating crow. That was pretty damn good, I'm glad it's not all low key/ambient-ish stuff.
mameeshkamowskwoz
Apparently Danny "the lion fucker" Carey will be drumming on a couple of Primus dates while Herb gets his rest! That's just nuts!!!http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/tools-danny-carey-to-play-with-primus-in-september-20140814
Le Gogh
If anyone is interested, Bullmoose have a limited white vinyl up on their site. Apparently limited to 1000, hand stamped and numbered. http://www.bullmoose.com/p/17010534/primus-primus-the-chocolate-factory-with-the-fungi-ensemble-white-limited-edition-white-vinyl-1000-copies As tempting as this is, I'm in the UK and unfortunately Bullmoose don't ship internationally! albert

youspinmeround
This leaked. I am a longtime Primus fan. One of my fav bands ever I highly recommend you listen to this before you buy. The only reason I would need this is so I can have all Primus releases. This thing would never get played.
tonyfranciosa
that's a bummer to hear. Green Naugahyde was so good.

RustyShackelford
I'm not sure I'll ever spin it more than a time or two. But I'm still very excited to see the live show in November

ptothedo
Does anyone know about this hand numbered indie version? There are some on eBay, http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=191384542094
Dicky Greenleaf
I ordered the numbered version from Bull Moose a few weeks ago and it just arrived today (didn't get a chance to open it yet). I think this is similar to the official "bootleg" version of Green Naugahyde that came out around the same time as the regular version. It should be no different than the regular release. What I am unsure of is if this numbered version of Wonka is included in the whole "golden ticket" thing. Here is the Bull Moose link (although it is currently sold out). The link says this is pressed on white vinyl but I got an email from Bull Moose a day or two ago saying this isn't on white vinyl - they misread something from the distributor about it being a "white label" release. The email said I could return the record if I wanted. I am gonna keep it but keep checking the link in case someone else returns theirs. http://www.bullmoose.com/p/17010534/primus-primus-the-chocolate-factory-with-the-fungi-ensemble-limited-edition-1000-copies
Dicky Greenleaf
Here is the email I recieived from Bull Moose about this: This is an update regarding your purchase of: PRIMUS/PRIMUS & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY WITH THE FUNGI ENSE@LIMITED EDITION WHITE VINYL@LP ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have some bad news. This record is not actually white. It was pressed on black vinyl. It's still stamped and numbered in an edition of 1000. There was some confusion at their record company. Someone misinterpreted "white label" to mean "white vinyl." Unfortunately, this misinformation was passed along to us and put on our website. We know you might not want it because it isn't as we described it. If that's the case, please refuse delivery or mark it "return to sender" and return it to your mail carrier. We will give you a full refund as soon as we receive the record. If you have to actually remail it back to us, please send it Media Mail and we will refund your postage as well. I'm sorry that this is incorrect. I hope it doesn't spoil your enjoyment of the album too much. I checked out a stream last week and thought the music was pretty great. I'm still looking forward to listening to the LP when I get home tonight. Please let us know if you have any questions or if there is anything we can do for you. Thanks for understanding, Chris

youspinmeround
I thought all the regular release(Not the white label deal) are on this gold/brown. Its a golden ticket for lifetime tickets, not a golden vinyl Anyways, I still stand by you opinion that you will not listen to this more than 2 times when filed next to other Primus records

Its a golden ticket for lifetime tickets, not a golden vinyl Anyways, I still stand by you opinion that you will not listen to this more than 2 times when filed next to other Primus records How I've read it, the regular release is on chocolate brown vinyl and there will be 5 on gold vinyl which those will include the "golden tickets" of the lifetime passes. http://clubbastardo.shop.musictoday.com/Product.aspx?cp=297_16607&pc=OLLP16 Available on chocolate-colored vinyl! Five golden LPs will be produced and scattered about at random. Each copy comes with digital version of the album. Item #: OLLP16 Also, that picture of the golden vinyl above is a photoshop, as admitted by the guy who submitted it to /r/vinyl. http://www.reddit.com/r/vinyl/comments/2jukhd/primus_and_the_chocolate_factory/ cambionic
