I have never been snowboarding before, but I imagine those who do are really enjoying it! We are supposed to get another 2 feet by Friday! The biggest issue is that even the plows can't move this amount of snow and people are trapped. So far 6 have died and they have reported that dozens have lost fingers/hands in their snowblowers and ambulances can't get to them. Rescues are via snowmobile only. I have a 45 minute drive to work and the roads are usually crap in the winter. I'm in Lewiston right by the border, and we got lake effect going on so we're pretty mild. But I keep hearing some crazy ass stories about Buffalo - snow piled higher than peoples doorways, entire groups of people getting stuck for 24 hours, etc. I even heard one guy was buried underneath snow in his car and when they dug him out he was dead.
