slinch
Looks great, hoping it's reasonably priced. Also, anyone know when we were supposed to be receiving the last two Pert releases and Gost? sometime between November and next summer. Okay, yeah, I'm just venting because it took ages to get Dangerous Days. He said on FB that they should arrive from the plant on time (release day is today for 404 and Gost, Nov. 3 for I Am the Night), but that he needs to take a 3-week break, so I'm guessing they should start shipping late November. Though if it's the same as with DD, US orders will ship in November and EU orders in January.
WalnutSoap
I love Blood Music releases, but right now, I still have four records from him that I've paid for and haven't received. By the time these EPs go online, it'll be SIX.
Cats Are Cool
Just gota be patient, the guy does the best he can with everything. I can't imagine the daily stress he accumulates.
WalnutSoap
Hey, I totally get that. Guy gets a lot of respect from me. All I'm saying is, I'd rather have some of the records that I ordered in-hand before the next bunch go up.
Cloudsbelow
and he at least keeps us posted and clear lines of communication.. not like that ormolyckalolomoloalaa fellow.
slinch
Yeah, I understand why delays happen. It's a much too big of an operation to be handled by one single person. However I'm not sure that I believe a solution to this doesn't exist.
PRINCE
and he at least keeps us posted and clear lines of communication.. not like that ormolyckalolomoloalaa fellow. This is VERY true, I'm currently waiting on about $200 worth of records from both guys and I am MUCH more happy with BM customer service by a mile.. sequoia
It's Perturbator time. Will be #6 and #7 in my BM orders queue.
rooks
Had never heard of this Perturbator fellow, but stumbled across his side project last night in search of some Dark Ambient. http://enfantdelaforet.bandcamp.com/ Way, way different than his Perturbator stuff, from what I can tell. But, it's interesting.
Lil Pflugey
I love Blood Music releases, but right now, I still have four records from him that I've paid for and haven't received. By the time these EPs go online, it'll be SIX.This is why level 2 membership is the best, everything's going to come to me all at once at the end of the year plus I'll get a shipping refund. rooks
That is genuinely horrifying. Haha it's alright, a little campy for my tastes in general listening. Just thought it was funny that was the first time I had ever seen his name, and then I see this thread for the first time. Figured someone might be interested! slinch
I know we ALL love Perturbator and all, myself included but c'mon man.. What exactly do you mean by that? PRINCE
The art is a little too much of a Kavinsky ripoff, Kavinsky has been rocking the Letterman Jacket, red glowing eyes look since like 2006, he's also one of the godfathers of this retrowave genre in my opinion, it's just a little odd to me I suppose..
WAXXX
not sure i would call it a ripoff. similar style perhaps, but retrowave thrives on that.
slinch
Oh, that, I didn't even notice it. I completely agree though, Kavinsky is very likely one of the biggest reasons we have this music (and so much of it) today.
