Got any cool examples of this? It sounds way interesting. I'd love to see a video of this being made, too.

I actually have no idea what a splashed variant is. I was just shit-posting, but I would assume they're referring to a splatter or haze. They actually magnetize the disc, then dunk it in a bath.
Sad Heart
Splashed variants are essentially splatters. Here is a vid of the process.

Derek™
Hey Dave, I've been meaning to check out Caspian. Do you have an album you'd recommend I check first? You should honestly check all of them out. But not at the same exact time.

Yeah, but if you were trying to make a sales pitch to convince me that this band is the shit, which one would you tell me to listen to? Derek™
Yeah, but if you were trying to make a sales pitch to convince me that this band is the shit, which one would you tell me to listen to? Honestly, every release they've done is stellar in its own right, with their respective highlights. You really can't go wrong. I'd maybe save their Hymn For the Greatest Generation EP for later, since half of it are remixes, but even that thing is a gem. I personally started with Tertia, and I'd consider myself a pretty big fan... so take that for what you will. A lot of people swear by The Four Trees, and I really think their last album (Waking Season) offers the most variety and dynamic. Anything is a safe bet. The Butcha
I think going in order would be a safe way to go honestly. I started with You Are The Conductor and it's still probably #2 on my list. Tertia has made its way to the top.
