PO Now: Foxing - Dealer (Oct 30th)

Recommended Posts

I think you're referring to me - Vintage Vinyl in St. Louis had the green variant. I don't know if they were given these since its a local store that they just performed at or what. The guy working at the store told me they weren't supposed to get any in until this coming Friday and the green showed up regardless.

Ah, okay. It is kinda weird that they got it, then... especially if green was the Euro pressing??

Semi off topic, but I also ordered the 180g black from tcr and I'm really hoping it ships in a polylined inner sleeve. The main reason I avoid black records is because they ship in paper sleeves and arrived incredibly scuffed, which is very visible on black vinyl and an eye sore.

Anyone else feel this way? I know I'm kinda nitpicking... black 180g is great but I hate taking risks on ordering copies because of this.

I can confirm that the 180 gram black does not come shipped in a polyline inner sleeve from TCR.

Got my 180 Black today. was in a printed color gloss inner sleeve. Not many scuffs at all - went straight into a MOFI inner though! :D

Yeah, I saw that too. It's always interesting to see his opinions but I disagree with him on a lot of albums.

The only time I could kinda see what he was saying was how there were bands who did the crescendo stuff in the 1900s/2000s well in the past, but Foxing's instrumentation and writing are just so good, and the vocals carry it so well. I did get some GY!BE vibes on both The Albatross and Dealer but not enough to say they're "copying" or anything. Foxing definitely have their own sound. I feel like with emo Needlethony Droptano these days is a little reluctant.
