scottheisel
I'm probably in an extremely tiny minority, but Transplants > Rancid. This record is rad, too.
OrangeJoe
I'm probably in an extremely tiny minority, but Transplants > Rancid. This record is rad, too. Im in that minority, but I was more into rap/blink and thats what got me into transplants, less the rancid side. I saw these guys once in like 2005, I expected them to be bad live to be honest (the style of music just seemed like it would be hard to pull off live) But they crushed it. Warped '05 was so fucking good because of them and Saosin alone.
pizza face
In for gangsters and thugs. Definitely a nostalgia purchase for me because I haven't listened to this in years

Definitely a nostalgia purchase for me because I haven't listened to this in yearsI don't like it as much as the debut, but it's pretty still pretty damn good. I actually keep all three of their albums in my car haha. Perfect for driving.
himynameisdk
Kinda bummed they couldn't get the original artwork. Still gonna pick it up.
greenfaerie
I'm pretty stoked about this, a little bummed about the artwork, but I'll take it. Glad they chose something neutral and didn't bring in completely new art.
mclz
the Transplants website forwards to KRM so that's probably where you will find it. Surprised it took so long because I remember at least a year ago Rob talking about this and I know that test pressings have existed for a while too. In A Warzone is a weird record — there's some cool songs on it, but it's a lot more straightforward than I ever would've expected from this band, and I think the recording quality is kind of harsh. jerseypride
I'm probably in an extremely tiny minority, but Transplants > Rancid. This record is rad, too. They were definitely much better at selling shampoo. CVHX and Shitty Rambo

Unfortunately it's the only one I own on vinyl, so I'm hella excited for Haunted Cities.
CVHX
funny cause the transplants actually led me to discover rancid back in 2002. fuck that was 13 years ago.
OrangeJoe
Ya I loved the first two albums because they were such a good mash of punk/pop/rap it was really unique. In a war zone just felt like a gritty Punk Rock record. Which is fine. Just not my thing. First album is definitely best, but killafornia is such a bad ass song. mclz
Oh man, if you guys ever heard the demo. It's sounds like crappy nu-metal haha. Only good track of the 4 songs is Romper Stomper, which is similar to the s/t version.
