Bladewillisisdead
Really? You preordered a record that comes out in 2 months and you want to know if there are pictures yet? Seriously, any picture would just be a mock up at this point.
mellowtooth
Mockups are what I meant. No need to act like a gang of weirdly hostile & pedantic dingus-flickers over a passive question. However, I'll admit you're right - there's never been an image of a record posted two months before its release - it's inconceivable. Since labels generally aren't interested in advertising or marketing, there's no need for mockups - and vinyl records can be pressed in a few weeks or less thanks to the abundance of pressing plants, so there's no way a major label would ever need to order or receive their records significantly prior to the release of an album they're trying to promote. SILLY ME I'm just curious as to what they consider "oxblood".

mellowtooth
red I googled it and it's actually a brownish burgundy color btw. should look nice. I won't lie, when I heard the beginning of "Alex" I was thinking this is a little too generic-emo-melody for me, but those instrumental changes blew me away by the end of the track. I'm sure dedicated fans of this band will jump on the "this shit wasn't even recorded with a laptop mic on garageband" hate wagon but I think the new production sounds great while retaining the rawness of their lo-fi stuff. dvv
the step up production is definitely a surprise, but if anything, we've learned that when a Sam Ray project gets access to higher quality production songs can still sound really great ala Julia brown 7"

Your laziness to read a paragraph nearly rivals my laziness to google mockups of the wax in the first place. Besides - if I was any good at expressing my feelings, I wouldn't have to listen to bands like Teen Suicide while showering their records with my misdirected tears. I read it, just didn't enjoy it enough to read the sequel. Dominic_
