apirk
Pretty excited for these. I have the originals but have been in need of an upgrade or replacements. One of my favorite bands.
morfiend
Awesome, I'll definitely grab these. Hopefully some Green River reissues will follow.
MtrCtyWx
Seaweed would be cool as well.
azvd
Now that's a great idea. I may ending up bitting this bullet.
slipcraig
Be sure you buy the bundle ($51 USD) so that they throw in the extra LP with all the collected bonus cuts. Vern
Excited as hell about these. I have all of the originals, but remastered with delux treatment is something I've been holding out for a long time. Surprised there's not a bigger response! It's TAD, man! sinatra.45
Who doesn't love a little 8 Way Santa?
Dusted_By_Space
Easy bundle buy. Thanks for posting.
spectrum
Yep easy order for me too despite owning the OGs
monsterrod
Yeah ordered the bundle as soon as I got the email from Sub Pop a couple days ago. I don't have any TAD albums on vinyl, and them being one of my favorite bands from that era, this is a big win for me.
morfiend
Just received a shipping notification for these.
morfiend
Received these in the mail yesterday. Very impressed with the packaging and sound of the LP's. For those curious, the bonus LP comes with just a basic white sleeve and black vinyl (no artwork or anything) the rest of the LP's are colored. All in all, Sub Pop went all out on these, great buy for $51.
kramer73
Any of their albums better than the other? I don't have any of them, but am meaning toward 8 way Santa since it was done at Smart Studios.
apirk
I love Tad so I think all three of these are must own but I'd probably go Gods Balls, Salt Lick, 8 Way but that could change depending on the day
jeffnovak
Tad is one of those bands that holds up so much better than a lot of their peers. Got these in an hour ago and they look great.
Vern
These reissues sound absolutely incredible. Endino did a sterling job. This is for example hands down the best I've heard Loser. It really kicks. Packaging is great too.
slipcraig
My bundle arrived three days ago. Honestly, THIS is what people meant when they said "grunge" before Newsweek ran a story about "grunge." Great stuff. Incidentally, be sure to check your LPs closely. For me, side B of God's Balls had a long scratch straight out of the undamaged sleeve; they're sending me a replacement.
morfiend
For the Seattle folks - The long-awaited deluxe remastered editions of TAD's first three albums - "God's Balls," "Salt Lick," and "8-Way Santa" are being released November 4th! Five days later, on 11/9, Easy Street & Sub Pop present a conversation with Sub Pop's Jonathan Poneman and all four original members of TAD! Signing to follow! Free & all-ages! Wish this wasn't in the middle of the week!
kannibal
I got really bummed out when I saw counterfeit LPs at Easy Street the last time I was there. That at being said, this is a cool event and great reissues.
levitz
Great set of reissues. Kinda wish they'd sprung for a nice slipcase to house them all.
