thebiglebowski
Play effing alex Guerrero already. He's so much better than Uribe. He might be better than Puig.
hippielauryn
Pretty sure Eaton said something to Ventura first, then Ventura retaliated with a big Fuck You. Granted Ventura seemed to be quick-pitching which caused Eaton some frustration. Ventura is young and hot headed, everyone knows his reputation. Also, these teams are going to hate on KC, and KC isn't going to put up with it. They will fight and back each other up. Agreed, Ventura needs to calm the fuck down, but Zamardzija's attack on Lo Cain seemed over the top and un-necessary. Sucks that this had to happen in the first game. We play the White Sox quite a bit this year, so hopefully the guys can put it behind them and focus on the game.

catalinacaper
I wanted him gone but get crucified here (KC) in saying so Atlanta fans have wanted him back in the organization for a long time, so maybe when Hart trades Fredi G. for a box of toothpicks the Braves can take him off your hands. sacredheart
How is it Ventura's fault? Eaton said post game that he was yelling at Ventura down the line and Ventura yelled back. If Eaton doesnt yell about being quick pitched (which he wasnt), then nothing happens.

maneatingcow
I'm gonna find him and pinch him in the eye. This literally made me cringe. I'm just imagining have someone try and pinch my eye and I just want to fuckin' die.
catalinacaper
dayton moore turned out a decent one for us. he was a braves guy too right? Yes sir, there's a ton of connection between the Braves and Royals front offices.
abovetheearth
i do love a good brawl. when Ventura (Robin) ran out there it reminded me of when Ryan beat his ass. but damn he was a grand slam hittin sonuva gun.

sacredheart
Ventura has made 4 starts and gotten into it with 3 teams. Sorry but I'm just going to assume it's his fault. He had the blow up with Trout, he hit Lawrie, which everyone knew was going to happen and was the retaliation for the dirty slide , and got yelled at by Eaton so he yelled back. So out of 4 games, he was told to hit one batter, started shit with Trout, and Eaton started shit with him. Far from everything being his fault. abovetheearth
14 of the 18 HBP's are the same 3 players. Coincidence too.
maneatingcow
Yosts Brewers squads were always getting hit non-stop. That was mostly because Weeks and Fielder in particular would crowd the plate.

abovetheearth
Where you think it's the pitchers fault, I think it's theirs. i dont see how the same three guys keep getting hit, but okay. these are aces throwing at them. we can move past this....i hate to keep peeling the scab off. I'm just happy for Morales is doing so well.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Maybe the Royals should go all in and trade for A-Rod Or Josh Hamilton, who apparently is about to get traded from the Angels as part of his "out" of LA.
thebiglebowski
I guess they are giving up or failed on enforcing the extra drug clauses of his contract. Wouldn't make sense to trade him and eat a ton of his salary (they would have to) if you could void the contract.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hamilton to texas. Why would you cut ties with him if you could get players for him? Chances are they were going to owe him money no matter what so get prospects back instead of losing out
