flood
or it could just be a marketing ploy.. you say you dont wanna go somewhere to drive up the price;)
adammuzzy
id say the whole "disgusted by yankees fans" is much more likely and reasonable.
travis
But I dont think you would come out and say that you or your family dont like the fans of a team that you're trying to go to just to drive up the price. That wouldnt really make any sense.
311thrice
Again...Yankee fans just think they get whatever they want. I'd freakin love if Lee stays with the Rangers. But I'm with Travis...as long as he doesn't go to the Yankees, I'm fine.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
if Texas wins the WS i could see him staying in Texas. how many players there will be returning? seems like most of the team. they'd be a solid team again next year.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
as for next season, my brewers just need to shore up some starting pitchers. they have everything else but starters. I think Prince will be traded in November for some possible arms, but we'll see. they've got a good number of OF prospects where they could move Cory Hart to 1B and put Lorenzo Cain in CF and Mat Gamel in RF. I dont care who they get as pitchers as long as they're not Jeff Suppan-type pitchers/contracts. Need to go young and affordable, and they're in the rumors for the Zach Grenkie rumors. dunno if i'd want him, for what they're asking for, but it'd be a pretty solid rotation with Grenkie, Gallardo, Wolf as the top 3. blackswanns
Lee's going to the Yankees especially if they win the World Series. That's just my gut feeling.
travis
This does not look good for SF. WTF was Lincecum doing running Young back to third? EDIT: Well that changed quickly. 7 runs of Cliff less in under 5 inning is pretty damn impressive.
311thrice
This just in....Cliff Lee is human!! So much for a pitcher's duel...both pitchers were gone before the 6th inning. Rangers didn't look too good tonight. Although I don't really care. I'd love to see them win the whole enchilada, but I'm just happy to be able to watch them in the Fall Classic. flood
That's like more runs than sf scored all year...wtf?
mclz
I have Cablevision so I wasn't able to watch the game on TV, but I kept updated on my phone and saw the highlights after on the MLB Network, and this was just a horrible defensive game on both sides. The pitchers duel was not what it was out to be at all, and there were 6 errors in the game included 2 off of Guerrero.
311thrice
Yep...Vlad stunk it up. I doubt very highly that he will start again tonight. David Murphy will likely go in for him...especially after coming in to pinch hit last night and getting a big hit.
MattyIceyo
Lost 200 dollars on that game. fuck it, dime on game 2!
danthemjfan23
This team went from cocaine to champagne ginger ale congratulations, dude. it's always awesome to have your team succeed beyond expectations! also, i'm not backing out of our bet. i was just out of town for the past week and didn't have access to a computer. PM me your address and i'll get your record out to you ASAP.
Guest poopmcgee
wow the rangers FUCKING suck. its amazing what you can do when you scout a team every game for three months straight and have enough info to fill an entire encylopedia set versus not scouting a team at all and having barely enough info to fill the dedication page. 311thrice
Yep...I hate to say it, but the Rangers are flat out sucking balls right now. Nothing is going right for them.
311thrice
This whole series has been a completely different Rangers team. The bats are asleep, their making careless errors...even Lee sucked in game 1. Ridiculous.
travis
Well congrats to the Giants. They beat the hell out of a team who beat the hell out of some teams. Now I just hope Lee stays in TX.
311thrice
Went to the game tonight. Bummer for me, but the Giants outplayed the Rangers in every aspect and clearly the better team won. As I said earlier, I'm just so happy I got to see the Rangers play for the first time in the Fall Classic. I'm excited to see what the offseason will bring. What an awesome season! Guest poopmcgee
rangers = http://www.sadtrombone.com/ at least now every state that is not texas doesnt have to put up with that obnoxious jackass waving a texas flag behind home plate anymore

travis
Angels bench coach Ron Roenicke that didnt take long. The Angels coaches who have left recently for managerial jobs have done a really good job with the teams they took over. Madden - TB Black - SD Would have rather lost Hatcher than Roenicke tho.
