paynegretzky
only have to be up at 6 Tis the season. They were just saying how it was 11:16 locally (KC), 12:16 local for Murphy at bat, and 1:16 locally for me... Hoping for a Mets win but everytime it goes to the bottom of the extra inning I must stay up.
abovetheearth
not quite 1130 yet but I'll be damned if I'll be asleep by 3.

NapalmBrain
that was such a great game, what evenly matched teams. This is going to be a good series
hippielauryn
Wow. What a fucking game! Battle to the bitter end. Let's go Royals!!
Guest
Have you seen DeGrom? There's a huge difference between having long hair (that he's cutting off once the season ends) and having that half-assed Mohawk. Seriously, Hosmer looks like he's been in his share of mentally abusive relationships with that shit.
stl_ben
Well I wanted the Cards to win first, but they were to worn down and out of healthy players. Then I wanted the Cubs to win, because you know BTTF....but even that didn't help them win. So Ill go to my third choice, KC, at least someone in Missouri will get a parade! abovetheearth
the game is replaying in our work kitchen. everyone that comes in "is this the replay?". NO YOU FN IDIOTS. ITS LIVE. ITS NIGHT TIME OUT RIGHT NOW.
NapalmBrain
I think Cueto is going to choke tonight, I just don't see Degrom losing to him unless the offense doesn't perform
abovetheearth
I'm so unsure of which Cueto will show. first start against NL since trade so I'm eager to see how he does. he's just been so BLAH. that great HOU start as of late and that's it. he seems to do slightly better at home. we'll see. our bats hit everyone. I don't watch too much NL so I'm not too familiar with him. just hoping for another classic.
just a normal guy kevin
Long time Reds fan here. Cueto is solid and capable of shutting the Mets down for 7-8 innings. Where he can go wrong is if he is nursing some kind of injury (I think his velocity was down last start and he seemed uncomfortable) or if the defense sucks. Reds have had an amazing defense the last 3-4 years and, last I remember, the Royals defense is solid too, so I'm expecting Johnny Beisbol to tear it up if he's throwing loose at 93-95. He isn't giving up 9 runs against the Mets.

abovetheearth
Murphy got too upset so it had to be changed.
abovetheearth
as mentioned, 2 years in a row, the toughest team to strike out. Ive just never seen anything like this, regardless if I'm a KC fan or not.
paynegretzky
Paid for it this morning staying up until 2:20 to watch the game last night. Would be bittersweet right now to hope the Mets get more runs.
