Long time Reds fan here.

 

Cueto is solid and capable of shutting the Mets down for 7-8 innings.  Where he can go wrong is if he is nursing some kind of injury (I think his velocity was down last start and he seemed uncomfortable) or if the defense sucks.  Reds have had an amazing defense the last 3-4 years and, last I remember, the Royals defense is solid too, so I'm expecting Johnny Beisbol to tear it up if he's throwing loose at 93-95.

 

He isn't giving up 9 runs against the Mets.

Had to get back to work after the 2nd when it was 3-2. Pairing that with the only run scored in game 2 happening while I was asleep, I'm beginning to wonder if I need to remove myself from this series.

i was so drunk in the 8th inning that i had completely forgotten what happened. like, i woke up knowing they lost, because i was bummed about it all night. but when i watched the replay,i was unable to recall any of the pain that i endured as that happened. same for cespedes. 

 

sigh.
