The bottom line is that the 49er defense held off Manning and gave them a half dozen opportunities to win this. Every single time the offense went 3 and out. No doubt the Giants were uneven this year but they had more injuries than most in the early to middle part of the season. A lot of those guys are healthy now and you're seeing the results. Also, they beat 3 of the best teams in the NFL on the road, this team is legit. I'm taking the Giants of course, I'll post my bet sometime this week but I have a nice chunk of house money to play. Apparently you go to get the tix and it is completely computer determined. I know 10 ticket holders who entered and I'm the only one to get chosen. I'm trying to convince myself that it would be fun to go but $800 is stupid money. Of course that wouldn't even get you a front row seat to see the Yankees play the Royals.
