seafoamgreen
These are finally up on AE: Smash http://www.auralexploits.com/product_6192.htm Ignition http://www.auralexploits.com/product_6193.htm Colored vinyl, which surprised me. Anyone know anything about this pressing?
suburbanargyle
I know that I ordered them from VC on January 22nd. But that's all I know, and that doesn't help!

They both were for sale at one point, I'm sure smash sold out ages ago http://www.vinylcollective.com/2009/01/22/po-the-offspring-smash-lp-ignition-lp/
deafmx
got Smash last night at the local store Down In The Valley for $16 and there's a sticker right on it saying it's on colored vinyl. check your local stores or get them from AE! digitally remastered and comes with a download code. is a digital remaster good for a vinyl release? burntwolf
did anyone notice they put the same sticker on smash & ignition. so the sticker says that ignition has the 'hits' come out and play, etc...
brammyg
Why would I want a digital remaster?

forgeagain
$16? Ugh. I didn't pay that much for the CD version of Smash when I bought it 15 years ago.
brentoage
Smash is on clear orange. I picked up a copy locally a few weeks ago for $15.

That's been out of print for a grip. If Nitro didn't have their heads up their asses, I'd suggest the Collective repress this. But I guess Dexter is busy writing another joke song. gentlesenator
Can anyone comment on the sound of these represses? "Digital Remaster" sounds like a joke and I'd hate to waste my money on that.
burntwolf
I thought they sounded fine.
taylo234
I saw this without noticing the date only to realize this was from 2009. Dammit. hellbent

maintreqd
I've read a lot of people say they prefer the master on the original release. actually i almost always read people say that new masters for reissues aren't as good sounding to them as the originals (dookie and other reissued green day records also come to mind). still, i wonder if the sound quality is actually worse somehow or if it's simply because people don't like change or a different sounding master? i'm waiting for a copy of the original press of smash to show up that I ordered. I'd like to also snag the reissue at some point and compare. also random opinion but i think the re-recorded version of "dirty magic" on their latest album fucking rules. taylo234
