Every now and then I get weird obsessions with a certain artist/group that I otherwise wouldn't like. For example, I fucking LOVED that first Gwen Stefani record. Played it non-stop for months. I hadn't listened to No Doubt since Tragic Kingdom when I was 12 but for some reason that ruled.

Anyways, right now there are a couple of mainstream country acts I really enjoy and I'm not sure why--Sugarland is one and Darius Rucker is the other (yes, of Hootie and the Blowfish fame). Weird.

I am embarrassed to say that I like Fall Out Boy because of what they've become, but I'll be damned if TTTYG isn't a great record. Pretty much everything after that is garbage though.

I like Jack Johnson's music a bit. Jason Mraz's first album has received a number of plays by me, though not recently.

Don't listen to shit music and you don't need to be embarrassed. Honestly, I don't think I listen to a single band/artist I'd be embarrassed of. Gin Blossoms, Third Eye Blind, Kelly Clarkson, Justin Timberlake are all good in my book.
