jercjast
I got my political science degree last year, with honors even. Since then, I've applied for about 100 jobs, and I haven't heard back from a single one. Thanks a lot college.
monk0nuggets
NYS hooked me the fuck up last year. I was offered like 20g and all I needed was 12 or 13. That pisses me off.

AlexH.
I'm in between schools right now. Tried for a business/marketing degree and realized 3 semesters in I didn't want to work in marketing, or take 4 years of business classes. Now, I don't know what I'm doing/where I'm going. Anyone know of a sweet job that pays a lot/doesn't require hard work?
zac
Just finished my second year of college. I think I have 2 and a half left unless I take a whole lot of hours a semester or two.

It's alright, I'm sitting on a pile of nothing while owing UB $2200 for my summer session, and I don't think I'm getting anything this year. They've been shutting people down left and right, even in undergrad who got a lot last year.
monk0nuggets
Right now, I owe about $60,000 for all my school bills. I need to find a real job as soon as I'm done with my MA.
amsteel
BS in Environmental Engineering and working on a PhD in the same field. All with zero debt. Thanks rich grandparents and scholarships. But I'll take on my GF's school loans as soon as we get hitched, so there is no free ride.

bryneyancey
Don't have one, sort of regret not going but I don't envy anyone who's $60,000 in debt, regardless of how much their job pays them. I also didn't really know what I wanted to do with my life until recently, and I'm not 100% sure I need an expensive piece of paper to get me there. circlingvultures
took some business classes right out of high school. after a year i bounced and never looked back. sort of thinking about going back just to get that paper that says im not retarded and deserve more money. Plus it would be free so i wouldn't have to stress about paying for it.

Just Another Tom
I have a ND, and a HND in electrical/electronic engineering. I need to complete 5 more units to convert it in to a bachelors degree, but think i am going to wait a while because the industry has taken a big hit, at least in my area. and many of the apprentices in my classes have been made redundant. Also i am fed up with education and just want to earn some money.

Yea and no.. it's all about connections, and I have a handful, but to quote my neighbor who teaches in the city of Tonawanda, "finding a full-time job IS your full-time job". I've heard lots of similar stuff, if you put the effort in, you'll eventually get one. Or I'll move to VT with my old roommate.
circlingvultures
I only speak of the troubles my friend Kevyn has had landing a job and he graduated a few years ago. got sub work and worked in Eden for a while but even with all the string pulling he still ended up in an office job. Total bummer since he loves history.
