mariawithoneeye
i should have asked earlier. but if anyone can grab any of these i will be very thankful. Hot Water Music, Against Me, Bouncing Souls, All American Rejects 7" ?
scottheisel
Is anyone else a little disappointed that the Ted Leo and Against Me! 7"s are just records thrown in white sleeves? I was hoping they'd do something more than just that. My AM! record is in a black sleeve with an embossed RSD sticker on it, but yeah, I was still a little let down (and a lot let down with the Ted record -- there's no reason that 7-inch should've been $6, there was no packaging!) steveooo
I bought 262 records today although most of them were cheap and will be made into bowls as wedding favours for my wedding in a couple of months. RSD buys: Hold Steady (clear /86) Bright Eyes Sick of it All (clear) Soundgarden (orange) Fucked Up Pavement Deftones

willbratt
I got the only two RSD releases I was interested in this year: Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros "Global A-Go-Go" and "Streetcore" I also picked up these non-RSD releases: Neko Case: "Furnace Room Lullaby" and "The Tigers Have Spoken" Vampire Weekend: S/T

The songs on the Ted Leo 7" are both fantastic, but considering they pressed a good amount of them they could have either A) sold it cheaper or sold it at the same price but done something interesting with the packaging. I thought the HWM 7" had great packaging and it was the exact same price.

martyk36
God its beautiful, I wish the ebay prices weren't fucking ridiculous. I actually wasn't all that impressed w/ the hold steady vinyl..thought the packaging would be a lot cooler than it was, looks like they just kind of threw it together. I know I had planned to go there but then didn't have access to a car and had too much shit to carry on the way back from Amoeba SF/Telegraph. konk
No record stores near me doing/carrying anything worth a damn today so I'm not even gonna bother making the 45 minute drive to the closest worthwhile store to even see if, maybe, they have anything worth a damn. I should have done this. Wife was on call and she wouldn't let me go to Baton Rouge by myself, so I waited til she went to a wedding around 3. They still had a few things, but only one from my list. They got 4 HWM's, but no Hold Steadys. I got the Thermals/Cribs and Queers Love Songs.
