xxmartinxx
Didn't find the HWM or Hold Steady. In fact our city only got 1 copy of the Hold Steady which the store was raffling off for a dollar a chance. I didn't waste my buck. I had a 20% off coupon for the store, so I picked up some stuff I wouldn't have normally. I got this stuff: Both Joe Strummer LPs Built To Spill 7" Thermals/Cribs 7" Modest Mouse LP Fucked Up 7" (normal cover) Owl City 7" (hoping to flip)

Guest Admin
the guy in line in front of me got a hold steady, seriously thought hard about the ability to stop time and swapping his Hold Steady for a copy of that Owl City 7" but alas, I haven't figured out how to stop time. I did text a friend of mine at another store and he grabbed the only copy of the Hold Steady for me so I ended up getting one. Super stoked. I did get a lot of great stuff though; it is amazing to see a line outside of a store before they open.

akross
Was everyone else's record store a clusterfuck of organization? The only thing that had its own place to stand out was the Black Keys single, everything else was all over the place...
adamlikesmusic
My record store has overpriced bullshit It is funny that 2xLPs that are normally $20 are at least $30 for RSD. I got a RSD 2x LP for $18. That being said, every single store I went to said they were supposed to have gotten the Hold Steady, but didn't. I bought: Against Me! Bruce Springsteen Fucked Up Joe Strummer (both LPs) And I got for free a ton of shit. Some Four Year Strong 7", 3x RSD 12" comp, some other records I've never heard of, ton of CDs, and random paper stuff. Hmmph.
