kittenmittons Posted May 14, 2010 Share Posted May 14, 2010 I'm a sucker for glazed cinnamon twists and good old glazed donut holes, but I can't STAND krispy kreme...it's like i can feel the diabetes coursing through my veins. I stay local on the donut tip. Everyone should throw a shout out to their favorite local donut shop...mine is Christy's Doughnut in Houston. Getting there at 6 am for the first batch when they're still warm? Priceless. I have actually forced myself to stay awake all night for that sole purpose. imaxcowboyx Posted May 14, 2010 Share Posted May 14, 2010 There is a place in Hagerstown, MD run out of somebody's backyard called Krumpe's Do-nuts (pronounced krumpey) that is heavenly. The catch is they are only open from 9pm to 5am, but donuts only cost a freakin' quarter, and you get them right off of their conveyor belt of deliciousness.
