Its only bad for a few days then you just have four holes in your mouth, you get this cool syringe to keep the holes clean though.

It effects people differently. I was fine that day, I didn't take any of the pain pills they prescribed me. My sister just got hers taken out and she was out a couple days.

I was knocked out for the procedure and it felt like it was done in 10 minutes (really about 2 hours). I was groggy as fuck for a bit but then I got a bunch of painkillers and all the ice cream I could eat. If I remember correctly it didn't hurt a whole lot but I was puffy cheeked for about a week I think.

i've heard some people who were absolutely fine the same day, and others (like me, unfortunately) who were out of it for awhile.

i was in a lot of pain, and it looked like i was a chipmunk who lost a bar fight for a week or so. i was so swollen the skin on my cheeks was shiney from being stretched so far.

i only had 3 wisdom teeth, though. i'm highly evolved, obviously.

i had my 4 wisdom teeth removed along with 4 other teeth so that i could get braces 2 years ago. i remember it sucking but thats just me. they told me that the bleeding would stop in a few hours and to use gauze. but it was bleeding til the next night. i just stayed home and played gta4 for a couple days

Getting all 4 done at once is pretty standard. And recovery time is a day or two. Mine were impacted, so they had to be shattered and taken out piece by piece. I didn't end up using any pain pills, and was back at school on Monday.

wasn't to bad for me i just bled alot. i actually smoked on the way to the car while my mom bitched at me.

surprisingly fast too. i dont think i got through the first song on ozzmosis.

I had 4 removed last September. Let me start off by saying, I have pretty much no pain tolerance at all. I had it done on a Friday morning, and by Monday morning I was fine. The gave me 750mg Vicodin, and I only ever took half of one at a time, and maybe 3 or 4 total. I recommend picking up some of the Bob Evan's mashed potatoes/sweet potatoes, i was all over those.

I did this. Hurt the first day but after that I didn't need the meds or anything, I just watched what I ate.

I did this and it pretty much ruined my life for a while. I wound up with a broken jaw and a pain killer addiction that took years to kick. Not saying any of this will happen to you, but it fucked me up good.

Just had 4 removed 2 months ago, all impacted. They knocked me out and I didn't feel a thing till the next day. I used some good pain pills for about a week, mainly at night. I could still feel the pain 2 weeks later. Not to mention some of the worst breath for a good month. Have fun digging food out of the holes the first week.
