One Hundred Fifty-Two
El ten eleven. Also it would be worth checking out STS9 and Lotus - They are not in the same scene, but equally as talented and great listens.

djones0930
Gifts From Enola! I forgot about them...they're about an hour away from here and I've yet to see them. I've listened to Tortoise, Trans Am, and El Ten Eleven (via Pandora), but I'm going to write down these bastards so I can get some full albums. djones0930
Neurosis. Whenever I see Neurosis, it seems to be close to Don Cab -- do they have any resemblance in sound, or is it just coincidence?

sharkticon
Beware Of Safety - Mylene Sheath, so you know it's good Braveyoung - used to be called "Giant" are were a lot harder then. Have since started writing beautiful music and putting on fucking incredible live shows Earthless - think Metallica meets Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and Mars Volta Glaciers - San Francisco post rock. Lots of sexy loomy bass lines Jakob - saw them open for ISIS two nights ago. Awesome post-rock/metal with awesome tribal drumming and heavy bass Toundra - Spanish band, sound like Enter-era Russian Circles and make sure you listen to the Mono/World's End Girlfriend collaboration album "Palmless Prayer / Mass Murder Refrain". One of my favorite albums ever.

rtw88
Six Parts Seven!!!!!!! El Ten Eleven - S/T Toe Pretend Suffocate For Fuck Sake Tenebre If These Trees Could Talk Will post more later if I think of some. These are all mostly on the soft, twinkly side, with the exception of Suffocate For Fuck Sake who fluctuate between ambiance and super intense parts flawlessly. rtw88
You should download this EP from my friends' old band, Send Away Stranger. It's super chill instrumental music. Definitely listen to Pelican Bones. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jztjmydn3nz

sharkticon
Godspeed is generally the default band one goes to when thinking of instrumental/post-rock music. OP was most likely looking to expand on that.
