watched the trailer a second time since the first time around i was at work with the volume down pretty low. this has me pretty excited regardless of what it is. i dont necessarily think i see this as the type of direction that the creators would take a new MK game in but as a movie i can definitely see it. it reminds of christopher nolan's take on batman -- darker and about as realistic as you can make something like this without people rolling their eyes at it.

from what i've read this is a teaser short film that Warner Bro's made to see if there is interest in a new MK film. they picked up the license sometime ago, guess they wanted to see if people would still care. judging from the internet's reaction we should be getting a new film soon!
