Blink 182 - Enema of the State / Dude Ranch Delayed

Due to a mistake I (JENNA) made both Blink 182 - Enema of the State and Dude Ranch on coke bottle clear will be delayed. When I calculated the turn around time based on what the plant provided us I missed a week! This wasn't brought to my attention until late yesterday. The product should be in our hands by mid next week ish so we are changing the release date to May 1st, 2012. I know many of you are concerned about this because of the Blink 182 - Take Off Your Pants and Jacket orders we have canceled. There is no reason to fear as for I am confident these items will arrive. I also sincerely apologize for my stupidity when choosing a release date and counting the wrong amount of weeks. I am waiting on an exact ship date from the plant and as soon as I receive that I will provide you all with an exact ship date on our end. Good news is this particular plant is close to our shipping zone and it only takes 1-2 days for product to arrive once they ship ou t!

Filed a claim, thanks for the easy instructions--only had to do that once before. With the 50% discount, I was stupid and bought more records including a different color of TOYPAJ, and now those 50% off records are tied up in this TOYPAJ pre-order. Wonder if he still has any Movielife or Senses Fail set aside for me...SF is S/O now. Not that I'll be too upset if I miss out on those, but I would have liked them for 50% off.

I had them all at some point - then I realized they were still Billy Ripken cards. I kept one and traded the rest for a huge stash of Garbage Pail Kids that I dearly regret giving away.

And just to reiterate on the Paypal end of things, when I called they said they'd put a hold on his account if there were a number of complaints (which there have been), and the rep later slipped up and admitted that it looked like there was a hold on the account. With the addition of that ditzy girl complaining about not being able to give her money away for nothing, I think it's safe to say he can't receive any money through that account at this point.

Just called paypal and talked to an awesome guy. Heres the deal....

Everyone that paid Mightier Than Sword Records through PayPal (whether you called or not) you need to follow these steps to open a case.

1) Log into your Paypal Account.

2) Go to "My Recent Activity" and find your Payment to MTS.

3) Click "Details"

4) Find your "Unique Transaction ID #" and copy it

5) Click on "Resolution Center"

6) Click on "Dispute a Transaction"

7) Click on "Item Dispute"

8) Paste your "Unique Transaction ID #" in the box provided

9) Click on "I Haven't Received my Item"

10) Category "Entertainment Related Goods"

11) Enter a Message about the case OR copy this one

"I purchased records from Mightier Than Sword Records on (Date of Your Purchase). The sale was for pre-order items that were supposed to ship in September of 2011. Mightier Than Sword Records then stated they could not ship the items until December. Once that date passed they said they could not ship until February. Once that date passed they said they could not ship until April 10th. It is now April 16 2012 and i still do not have the records i ordered over 9 months ago. I have tried to contact the seller multiple times and he has not responded"

The case will close automatically because it is passed the 45 day time period. Although it says closed it still shows up as a red flag in the paypal system. I was told if more then 15 people do this paypal will file an investigation because they must have a "really good reason" to re-open a case after 45 days i was told.

Also, call Paypal and talk to them about the claims they're closing. The more people that file a claim online AND call in, the more attention it gets. And yeah, definitely file a claim with IC3. At this point Paypal isn't going to be able to do anything, unless you placed your order 45 days ago.

On a similar note, holy hell Citizens Bank has terrible customer service. I have to wait for them to mail me shit to send back to them just to open disputes, and they won't help me out for the most expensive order that I placed back in July. Lesson learned, don't EVER give anyone money and wait longer than 3 months for them to deliver. :-[

Called Chase Bank. They told me they can only see the activity up to 120 days. They advised me to go to a Chase Branch. Will do this before I claim my 25 bucks from paypal that they promised me. Might as well...

Which is why the 3500 or however many people that bought these need to complain. Obviously 1 person isn't going to do shit, but I doubt they will ignore hundreds & hundreds of complaints.

We are definitely doing a vinyl re-issue of blink-182’s “Take Off Your Pants And Jacket”. We’ve actually had the license for six months or so, I’m just trying to lock down three limited edition 7”s to include with the LP. If you remember the original CD release, there were three different versions, and each had two bonus tracks. To keep with the original release, we’ll be doing three different versions of the LP, each having a 7” with two bonus tracks on each one. I’ve been hesitant to give full details on the release, but the idea is to do a triple gatefold jacket with a die-cut slit to house the 7”. It will definitely be the best blink-182 re-issue we’ve done to date, and we’ll hopefully be announcing within the week or so.
