nothingnatural
Came to post the pic of the beer color but it's taken care of. Thanks Mike. It's odd but I like it. Still kinda surprised they haven't sold out through Prosthetic. Oh, and the album is fanfuckingtastic.
seanicus
Album owns. I don't understand why that color isn't described as opaque white with orange haze. I ordered this color. Looking forward to it's arrival.
sharkticon
Maybe it's supposed to beer with foam. Looking forward to getting my copies. The new songs sounded good about a week ago when they played here.
deafmx
it's definitely not a beer marble. just another variation of "beer".
batman
this album is killer. can't wait to get my sheath copy. i'm assuming they'll ship 'em next week? what was street-date?
nothingnatural
Maybe it's supposed to beer with foam. That's exactly what I thought of when I saw mine today. I like the color.
burnthesun
Still kinda surprised they haven't sold out through Prosthetic. Oh, and the album is fanfuckingtastic. Easy answer: Beer isn't /100. From Prosthetic store: Sorry, there are only 124 “Junius - Reports From The Threshold Of Death (Vinyl) (Preorder) - Junius Beer Vinyl” left. All others are either sold or being held in other buyers’ carts. Buyers have 30 minutes to checkout, after which it may become available again. Clear isn't /100: Sorry, there are only 142 “Junius - Reports From The Threshold Of Death (Vinyl) (Preorder) - Junius Clear Vinyl” left. All others are either sold or being held in other buyers’ carts. Buyers have 30 minutes to checkout, after which it may become available again. nothingnatural
Well that's kind of shitty that they lied about the pressing numbers. But I actually really don't care when it comes to that stuff.
deafmx
i wish i had gone for the black. i bet it would have sounded amazing. that said, does this album seem super quiet like it was crammed onto a single LP? i had to turn it up pretty loud to get a good volume. mattycakes
That blue haze is nice. Kinda wish I hadn't gone with the white Mylene Sheath variant.
swoopdog
That blue haze is nice. Kinda wish I hadn't gone with the white Mylene Sheath variant. for some reason my sheath variant order didn't go through I will gladly buy someone a copy of this new variant for their sheath one. sharkticon
The gatefold sleeves on this release and fucking heavy and gorgeous. That album art is beautiful. They really should do a shirt and/or screen print with it on it. Physcial attributes aside: this record rules. I think Martyrdom is still my favorite. But I can love two records just the same. Don't sleep on Junius, any longer.
lexicondevil
That must be the "tour" version that they didn't have on their tour. Thanks for posting, I needed another damn variant! I agree that Martyrdom is still the best. I think I like it more because there are less vocals. The vocals are great, I just think the balance should lean more on the instrumental side. Definitely one of my newest favorite bands.
swoopdog
I got something worked out with the poster above...I can't believe I didn't notice I didn't actually order this until this week. This is one of the best bands going, I am very excited for them as it looks like they are definitely getting the attention they deserve. I emailed Prosthetic about this and here's the response: We enter "fake" stock into the webshop when we set up the pre-orders before we have the actual item, so I'm guessing the fake number we used was much higher than 100, therefore misleading. I can assure you we only received 100 copies of Junius - Reports From The Threshold Of Death (Vinyl - Beer Marble) from the manufacturer Erika Records, and have less than 20 left. Anyone who says there are way more than that are just spreading rumors. Thank you, Elsa Velezmoro Prosthetic Records 8713 Aviation Blvd. Inglewood, CA 90301 [email protected] (310) 391-5569 (310) 391-5593 - fax On a side note, I'm sick of those type of cart systems that allow nerds to add all of a single item to see how many are left. It's screwed up so many POs lately. People that do that, please stop. Dicks.

lexicondevil
It looks like the the beer/fried egg version is sold out. They still have the clear though which is limited to 100. I got a notification that my band version has shipped. Anyone got their Sheath version?
