3arl
Holy crap Dan Harmon was checking people in at the sweat lodge! Nice find!
Guest
Isla Fisher is awful at faking an American accent. What the hell?
alexschelldorf
I'm 6 episodes in and I'm upset with how much I am disappointed.
AlexH.
The nightclub called And Jeremy Piven is the best thing ever. I love it so far. The cameos are great (especially Dan Harmon!!!!), the only one that's bothered me is Seth Rogen as George Sr. He's just been talking like Seth Rogen reciting George Sr. lines. noalarmplanet
steventangent
Kristen Wiig is a great young Lucille Bluth. Even the kid who played Buster did better than Seth Rogen. I'm still just 3 in, but I'm really enjoying it.
elgato48
Maybe I'm they only but all the cameos have been putting me off. They didn't really need it people were going to watch. Agree with Seth Rogen just failing. Actually fell asleep during episode 6.
AlexH.
I mean, they've always had tons of big cameos (Ben Stiller, Amy Poehler, Scott Baio, Heather Graham, Carl Weathers, Zach Braff, Charlize Theron, Judge Reinhold, Inside the Actors Studio guy, etc. just off the top of my head) but after watching the original seasons so many dozens of times they barely register for me anymore. Sure, it's novel and a little distracting the first viewing, but I'm sure it'll eventually become less noticeable and the strong writing will prevail. 3arl
This story is really intricate. Even if you don't really like it, you have to admit it's nice that they didn't dumb it down.

I am overall enjoying it so far though, especially seeing more Tobias.
3arl
Oh my god! I'm pretty sure Tyler The Creator was in Lucile's episode
almightyseancore
did anyone notice the george watsky cameo in episode 7? he was one of the guys in gob's entourage.

marc32137
Just finished all of them. Started at 9 this morning and took a couple breaks in the middle. Very impressed with how they laid out the season and the flow/callbacks are genius.
seamoney
Five episodes in and all five were awesome! Especially Tobias's episode, but that was to be expected.
3arl
Just finished as well, and I think it's brilliant. It's less of a season and more of an 8 hour movie.
cwhitmuzik
Five eps done and I'm not loving it. We'll see, though.
kriss
I'm really enjoying it at 9 episodes in but I'm still not a huge fan of certain characters going for long stretches without being seen. I feel like Debris is more of a prominent character than many of the main cast members, for example.
marc32137
Hopefully within the next couple days someone will make a timeline/graph of the whole season.
PC Music
The way they wove this story together surpasses even stuff they did in the first 3 seasons because they were working with a compacted framework (even though the actual timeline spans a while). Not to say the episodes are better, necessarily, but I really enjoyed the season, and at least are AS enjoyable. And, some characters seem like they're missing at first, but the way the episodes work everyone gets their spotlight by the end. I still think it maintained all the staples that made AD so great. I haven't read a lot of online reaction, but I've heard some people commenting that other people were complaining and I can only see that happening if the person is only a few episodes in. My fave episode was the first George Michael one.

My fave episode was the first George Michael one. It would have been so easy to just make callback after callback. They did something bolder with this and I think in time it will pay off for them. I agree though that the flashbacks with seth rogen are too much.
AlexH.
They said you can watch in any order and still get the entire story. This was retracted a few days ago after Hurwitz finished the final edit. http://www.vulture.com/2013/05/mitch-hurwitz-dont-binge-watch-arrested-development.html
steventangent
I am enjoying the shit out of this. Saving the last four for tomorrow. Nothing has been as funny as some of my favorite moments in the first three. But it's still damn good. Arrested Development is the closest thing to a Shakespearean sitcom. There, I said it. Haha.
