donlombardo
HOORAY FOR THIS! I'm super happy! Now I gotta find a store that'll have them. Can't trust them not being sold out I guess. Although Cities still available from Tooth and Nail
derkwithano
holy shit. so psyched. *I can't believe they're pressing both of those at once!
mmhmm
This news should earn T&N some goodwill. Glad to see both Anberlin albums and Mae being released. I just hope they keep some extras and sell them in the T&N webstore like they did for Cities.

Although Cities still available from Tooth and Nail I'm wondering if they held some back or pressed more? Cities was not hard to find on RSD last year, every store I went to had 2 copies still even in late morning. I doubt Mae will be hard to come by. Would rather pick this up in the tooth and nail store, and not have to deal with the inevitable ridiculous lines at Park Ave. I just wish we knew ahead of time. donlombardo
I snagged a copy on amazon or ebay (buy it now) of New Surrender, I was lucky. the latest one, still available: http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Anberlin-%252d-Dark-Is-The-Way.-Light-Is-A-Place.html

xthricex
just went through the official RSD list, and it lists blueprints as a 2LP and NTFP as single. That somehow doesn't seem to feel right to me. Was really hoping for them both to be 2LP, like cities. crapballs.
mmhmm
I saw that too and I'm hoping it's just a typo. It would make sense for both to be 2xLPs.
donlombardo
It would make sense for none of them to be on 2xLPs. they're 37 and 39 minutes long, fits perfectly on one LP, would make the side changing easier and cheaper for the customer. I don't see the point here for 2xLps? Cities would've fit aswell.

I don't see the point here for 2xLps? Cities would've fit aswell. sound quality is an argument. i definitely understand the pain of constantly changing sides though. most 2xLPs of albums around 40 min come out to like 3 songs a side. that's too much flipping. donlombardo
yeah, well. most records are 40 minutes and on a single, and it usually is fine, but of course, sound quality could be higher with 2xLP. maybe they could even make them 45s. these albums would be 3/3/3/2 which would kinda suck though. maintreqd
i would be stoked on a 4/4/4/etch situation or i guess even just the 2nd lp being one-sided but given how little t&n seem to care about the vinyl game i'm sure they're just doing the bare minimum it'll take to stir things up and make a buck
maintreqd
strike that, 4/4/3/etch or whatever
donlombardo
4/4/3/etch would def. be cooler than 3/3/3/2.
FlippingOut
will the artwork be the same for each release that was on the CD versions? any color variants? I can't find any press on this other than that they'll be released for RSD.
