hobohunter48 Posted March 18, 2012 Share Posted March 18, 2012 Alright so I know this sounds stupid or like I'm just trolling, but give me a chance I have evidence that Brand New's album that they're set to start recording in April (Source: http://extraneousterrain.tumblr.com/post/18071963828/on-friday-10th-february-i-was-given-the-chance-to) will be a posicore album. 1. The fact that recently they've been playing a lot of Your Favorite Weapon and other older more punk songs of theirs than they used to. It's obvious that they're harkening back to their younger days. 2. On April 26, 2011 Jesse Lacey announced at their Baltimore show that they have been writing material but have had difficulties as they are "tired of bumming you guys out. We’re trying to write something happy." Also he's been quoted as saying "I think that ‘Daisy’ was like the end of a road, and I get the impression we all feel like we might need to back track a little bit and find another place where we could’ve gone off." (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brand_new#Fifth_studio_album_.282011.E2.80.93present.29) Therefore when you combine the two it equals posicore album. Thoughts?
