One Hundred Fifty-Two
I don't know if I'd spend $4 on a lionel richie album.
pukebileforever
My collection is all over the place. I have fleetwood Mac records in the same expedit cube as gg allin and flipper records. Haven't really cared about "embarrassing" music vs punk cred since I was 13.
scottheisel
I bought the Beverly Hills Cop theme song on a 7-inch the other week. Best dollar I've ever spent.
Guest
I don't know if I'd spend $4 on a lionel richie album. Me neither. Bought about 10 records that day so the guy gave me them all for a dollar apiece besides the Johnny cash one which was mint
jerseydave77
Why would you act like there's shame in owning a Queen record? There isn't any. I'm sad you feel this way. It's the Flash Gordon movie part of it, not Queen. The End? (Movie is freaking camp-gold awesomeness)

A_Boring_Story
Anyone have a picture disc of Hello? I'd buy that shit in a heartbeat.

jase
Seeing as though the pics in my previous post didn't work, I'll have another crack. Cheap albums are so worth it if there's 1-2 good songs

maneatingcow
The Rocky Horror Picture Show LP should be the prize of a collection, not a guilty pleasure. Same with Louis Armstrong to a lesser extent. However the record that I am a little ashamed that I love is Shock Treatment OST. I just found this a couple weeks back with the Lost Boys Soundtrack and a LP of the JFK Assassination. steveooo
An old lady once I gave me a load of old records. Amongst them was a signed copy of that Lionel Richie album.
longgoneloser
Thankfully I have never disliked anything I actually liked years ago. As far as I see it, a good song is a good song and there's a reason you liked it then, why shouldn't you like it now? People always ask me why I have Samantha Fox's "Touch Me" on record in the midst of punk, metal and rock and I always say "that song rules! listen to it! plus, she had a member of Hanoi Rocks play guitars for her and she is mates with Lemmy... now, why don't you own it?" almightyseancore
No need to be embarrassed by records you own. Get rid of th if you don't like them! i do this on the reg. just gave a stack of media to a friend last night. 5 records, 8 tapes and 2 cds. he was stoked. deafmx
damn, that's the Whitney album I want on vinyl. my mom had/has the tape way back and it's always been the best one I think I have that same Louis Armstrong record too.

xadamhudsonx
I have both of these and neither are a guilty pleasure. Great records. I do however own Raffi's Baby Baluga album, which I totally enjoy... but if anybody asks I say I bought it for my son.

bobfrombob
I’m not really embarrassed about anything I own, and that includes ABBA, The Archies, The Carpenters, or The Partridge Family. My GF convinced me to buy a couple of Shaun Cassidy records ‘cause she grew up on that shit but it's really not worth being worried about. BTW, the Sesame Street “Born to Add” album looks great on the wall.
astrangerwithcandy
Why would anyone be embarrassed by the Rocky Horror soundtrack? If you look at my tradelist I'm sure I have plenty of stuff people would consider embarrassing but whatever. I think $4 for a Lionel Richie album is streets ahead of all the people who paid 99 cents on iTunes to put Justin Bieber, J Lo and Flo Rida up on the top of the best sellers list.
