Unless the coffee you are drinking uses the Swiss Water Method, coffee is decaffeinated using ethyl acetate, dichloromethane, or triglycerides. Up until the 80's benzene was also used. I COULD STILL HAVE GLASS IN MY BACK...you know, 12 years later. I've only been to the emergency room like three times. Once for thinking I could fly and busting my lip on a rock, then again when I busted my already busted lip by falling off a slide. I've had some pretty gnarly injuries, but I usually just got those taken care of at the quick care place.
