So I'm watching a scene from the Soprano's and Tony is yelling at his four Captains about why they aren't making enough money and kicking up more to Uncle Junior (The Boss)

I then realize I do the same thing to my four Specialists when their numbers or departments are lagging.

People management: it crosses all fields of work. LOL

I used to be a specialist (E-4 in the Army) and was yelled at when my soldiers weren't up to standard. you're right, it's everywhere and I hate it more than most things.

I had to put him on a final warning. He's been pretty good but that warning takes a year to fall off his file. It was rough to have to do that but at work I'm boss first, friend second.

It sucks (mainly because I despise negative non constructive criticism) but sometimes a little act right is needed.

"What's your name?"

"FUCK YOU. That's my name"

*insert Mr Burn's Excellent.gif*

I'm happy he's improved ! It seems like he's finally taking it seriously.

Me too! One less thing to stress about.

Yeah about 30 minutes. I live in Englishtown, though I'm originally from Point Pleasant.

I REALLY enjoyed Asbury Lanes as a venue when I saw The Lawrence Arms there. I wish it was closer to me (but that I remained where I am because--and no offense--I kind of hate New Jersey as a place mostly because of the Turnpike). Also I guess I kind of hate New England in general and I sincerely hope that the Original England is nothing at all like the new one.

-end mumbled ramblings

the lanes are awesome. I'm there for basically every show I buy tickets for haha.

the turnpike blows haha. new jerseyans know how shitty it is. the parkway isn't so bad if you stay away from it during the summer lol

I want to go back to see more punk shows there, but it's so far. Also, I was kind of disappointed I couldn't bowl during the show. I felt that would have been neat, despite the disrespectful nature of it. Just one quick game would have worked.
