We should definitely dedicate more time to talk about how multiple artists took to the stage last night and instead of celebrating themselves, they used the platform to raise awareness for racial and gender inequality, for domestic violence.

That, my friends, was absolutely incredible. Pharrell, Beyonce, Prince, Katy Perry, Obama, and a few others all used performances and presentations to make a difference.

totally missed this. I didn't see every performance or anything because I was 1/2 paying attention, but you are right. It's great to see people pressing for positive change.

I'll give it a try, but my strong pigheadedness gives me a poor predisposition. I'll try to be openminded-er. As long as he isn't autotuned every track, it might have a chance. I actually like people that can't sing- like early Alkaline Trio or GWAR.

Yeah AutoTune free

Kanye West is amazing and Im convinced there's some self awareness behind his public persona. Even if not I hope he never stops saying crazy shit and being an asshole at pointless award shows.

In my dreams he's invited to this years Osars and storms the stage and takes the award for Best Picture and gives it to Selma.
