Tho I paid retail for my Long Live first press.
Bladew1ll1s1sdead
Even on the 7"s? It seems like 7"s never get RPd and they have a few I really like.Especially the 7"s.
Dominic_
Especially the 7"s. Okay, I guess I will wait it out then. Has this been proven in the past or is it just a theory of yours? Yr so lucky on all of those. Tho I paid retail for my Long Live first press. My luck has become something of a running joke.

Dominic_
PM me if you really care why. Pretty curious but I'll save you the typing and assume you know your shit. May still hunt down the OOP ones until RPs come unless you think they're coming really soon

hipsterasfolk
Well, I am assuming you picked up The Fiancee (the best) and Long Live, yes? I'm gonna tell you a secret about E!E!. OOP stuff means they have a money maker down the line when needed. Very true, I sold off my IIOI and E!E! stuff and made bank! Those 7"s were $4 a pop when they played my buddy's basement every other month about 6-7 years ago hahaha Vinyl = best financial asset ever! Bladew1ll1s1sdead
Wasn't the main problem they lost the source or plates or something weird? One of the problems was the original plates were either destroyed or lost but the cost of the plates was 100% covered within minutes of the preorder going up. It was just weird all around.

hipsterasfolk
CYLS is truly random at getting shit back in press. It took forever for What It Takes to be pressed again and they absolutely knew how much of a killing it would make. When I talked to Keith years ago they always had the intention of pressing it, but since its one album but 2 LPs it required more moola than pressing newer things for other bands on their label. Still bummed I havn't heard Horror of Riovennes live :/

hipsterasfolk
Yeah, I sold off all my E!E! 7"s for quite a bit a few years back. That's how I felt when I sold my TF and TJ 7"s too! $5 7" = $40-85 a pop......no capital gains taxes either!
thebilljim
Were you among those who ordered the colors that took a lifetime to show up? Yeah, I had the green /1500 variant that didn't ship until this past Thursday. KRM must have airmailed this shit too, because there's no way it made it from LA to Concord, NH by land in 48 hours. thebilljim
Also, I just got Hot Damn on Discogs. That white whale list of mine is getting mighty small.
Guest
All this CYLS talk makes me want to place an order. Been meaning to grab the 2 Dowsing albums, the Kittyhawk album and that Zookeeper album.
