They sure don't make it easy to take apart laptops. Of course they don't sell fans anymore and it's not easy to fix, they want you to toss it and cough up $400 or more for a new one durrr. You know how this works now T Do you not have cool record stores in South Carolina? Nothing super great, and more importantly, not in my town. Anything worth half a flip is at least an hour away from me one way. I have one local guy who has a pretty decent little shop in an indoor antiques market, but his prices on used stuff are way too high and his new stuff I can get for cheaper most times online... mine too It was the first one I owned after Paranoid which I feel is something they should hand out at birth along with Social Security cards lol. There was a huge dust buddy stuck in the bearing, and I had to take it apart to get it out, then re-oil it. Thomas 2, Laptop 0.... so far. Really annoying that I will be looking at $30+ a piece on 7"s. They're all great though so I will end up buying them, it's just annoying. I've been wavering between putting in my two weeks notice and blaming it on the shitty day/bad mood. Thing is, I paid my rent in full until July - meaning that my roommate gives me his share of rent/bills every month and I can spend it on whatever I need. It's basically an "income" until July. So I don't need this job. I've been stretched so goddamn thin recently. This semester I'm taking on 22 units (classes from 10am to 8pm five days a week), work three days a week (including every weekend), juggling two bands (and a potential 3rd "experimental hiphop cassette label" that my friend is starting), and trying to search out my next ex-girlfriend in the meantime. Sounds like I shouldn't. If I really like a band/artist I feel the need to complete my collection no matter how impossible that may be. Modest Mouse I feel the need to complete the need up to the end of the M&A era, and a few others are similar, but most of the time I want everything. I have Fiancee which I got at HT on the cheap stacking coupons and promos (like $8), Long Live (white with black splatter), and One Wing (white) that I got from mytrainwreck back when he put his "C" sale up and paid like $25 a piece.
