Rip
this may have been talked about, but how was Starry Eyes? I know its coming to vinyl, but the premise doesnt do nothing for me, so debating on checking it out, to see if I want to pick up the vinyl or not... I thought it was fantastic. And the soundtrack really did help. It was so good. Like people have said, very "Lynchian/Cronenberg-esque."

ronniegwilliams
According to Rob Zombie's Facebook yesterday, Tom Towles has passed away . He was best known for his roles in Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer, House of 1000 Corpses, and a couple other of Rob Zombie's films. R.I.P. Tom. I for one, was a big fan. http://bloody-disgusting.com/news/3338901/r-p-tom-towles-passes-away-age-65/ I marathoned House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects last night, what a tragedy. It wasn't the most amazing flick of the year, but I definitely enjoyed it.

Rip
Goddamnit guys... we lost ANOTHER one this week... Not only that, but it's the second one from The Devil's Rejects. R.I.P. Geoffrey Lewis. He was also the father of Juliette Lewis, which I had no idea about. http://bloody-disgusting.com/news/3339293/r-p-geoffrey-lewis-passes-away-age-79/
museummouth
I saw It Follows tonight and was let down. The first half was really good but it just lost me after that. WAY TOO many plot holes / confusing points. Soundtrack was top notch though.
Rip
Finally saw It Follows. I for one thought it was amazing. I agree with most people are saying when they talk this movie up. I don't remember the last time I was on the edge of my seat just waiting for something bad to happen the whole time. I felt I was right there with the main girl waiting for something to just pop out of nowhere.
ronniegwilliams
Watched Nurse on Netflix today, to which I highly recommend NOT watching. Terrible acting, bad dialogue, and because it was originally filmed to be a 3D flick, there are a lot of obvious "3D" bits that don't pan out well outside of 3D. Rip
Got my special edition blu-ray copy of The Babadook today! It's amazing. Also... TRAILER FOR THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 (FINAL SEQUENCE) is out!! http://bloody-disgusting.com/videos/3339470/trailer-assembles-500-person-human-centipede-final-sequence/
GhostTrail
^^^That looks fantastic! So excited for the book to come out as well. If you haven't ordered that blu-ray, Amazon has it for $14.99 right now, which is pretty damn cheap! http://www.amazon.com/Babadook-Special-Edition-Packaging-Blu-ray/dp/B00S4YGWD8

I forgot about that. Only the people who backed the Kickstarter or whatever can get it though right? I hope not cause I found out about it too late. +hecollec+or
Ok, I'm confused guys. Isn't what KD posted the same as that Amazon link? I'd like to get this, but do wanna get the pop-up thingy
Rip
Ok, I'm confused guys. Isn't what KD posted the same as that Amazon link? I'd like to get this, but do wanna get the pop-up thingy I believe that it is. It says "deluxe packaging" on Amazon along with having pictures of it. Kinda makes me sad if it is the same because then I could have saved about $12 bucks by ordering from there instead of straight from Scream! Factory. Oh well... I got it early so I guess that counts as something?

GhostTrail
Yeah if that Amazon posting is actually the deluxe version that's definitely a steal. It says the MSRP is $30, so I think it is. As far as the book goes, after the Kickstarter thing ended they had it open for additional pre-orders on the site for a couple of months. They're in production now, and I'm sure they realize there's going to be a greater demand for these. I'd hope to see them either sell some of the "overrun" copies, or have a second printing. I jumped on the pre-order at the last minute and have been receiving periodic updates, so I'll be sure to post any info about additional copies as soon as I see it. Rip
Thanks! I'd love to get my hands on one of those if possible! Also, ANOTHER death... It just doesn't seem to end. R.I.P. Richard Dysart. hallowken78
Just a head's up that Best Buy is actually stocking copies of The Babadook SE in stores today and it is also $14.99. Received a random $5 coupon from BB in my email this morning so I'll definitely be swinging by on the way home from work to grab this.
