Just remember, you are under no obligation to pay more than the minimum listed shipping amount for that category. It only applies to sellers on ebay.com. I someone lists on ebay.ca or ebay.co.uk or ebay.jp or whatever, then this doesn't apply. Also, I used to report auctions that listed higher shipping amounts in the description text, but ebay has never, ever done anything about it. They have the policy to make buyers feel good, but don't implement it in any way, so sellers are never held responsible. If you don't pay the extra shipping, you just find yourself in a situation where you have a paid, but the seller wants more money and you can't do anything to force them to ship the item.
