paralyticstalks
Do you guys think the Their/They're/There release will be online? Also, I happen to be on vacation in nyc on rsd, any recommendations for good record stores? I've never been in NYC for RSD but I know Generation Records on Thompson in Manhattan and Co-Op 87 on Guernesey in Brooklyn are my two favorites when I go up. I've also heard that Kim's is really good but I've never been and I have no idea where it is. Academy is also one that I liked and they have two locations. Basically, you have a slew of options. steventangent
I preordered a bunch of stuff today. There's so much that is coming out for UK record store day that I want...probably better that those AREN'T happening here too.
tomfoolery
A few things are starting to grab my interest now, Botch, Cave in, Frightened rabbit and Biffy Clyro so far. Hope the local record shop here manages to get some in, not sure they will though being in New Zealand.

iknowandyking
Anybody know if any of the rva shops do preorders (I thought that was disallowed, then again so are a lot of things)? I'd rather give my money locally than to Strictly Discs if I can help it. I do not think any of the shops in RVA do pre orders. However, last year Steady Sounds did open at Midnight. Perhaps they will do that again assuming the new "RSD Guidelines" allow it. Also, while it isnt my favorite record shop in town, Plan 9 does get the majority of the RSD releases. deletedunknown
Whats wrong with Strictly Discs? Nothing is wrong with them (unless you're a RSD rules stickler). I'd just rather, you know, support my local stores and avoid shipping costs if I can.

dolt
Bummed that the Duran Duran blue vinyl 7" is apparently UK-only; that Elvis Costello/Roots album that they tweeted about isn't listed either. On the upside, got my fingers crossed to get Lloyd Cole (only 200, but I'm the only LC fan in the US I think) Tommy Keene Marshall Crenshaw Yep Roc 15 (only 300, so I probably won't be able to get it)
