combatwaffle
Also, one release that hasn't been talked about yet is a split 7-inch between Cloud Nothings and Relaxer. It is limited to 500 copies and will be given away free to customers shopping at My Mind's Eye Records in Cleveland and Square Records in Akron. Not sure what the tracks are, but I believe both are brand new and exclusive to this release. Well there goes another thing that I want but won't be able to get. Fucking dumb. scottheisel
Well there goes another thing that I want but won't be able to get. Fucking dumb. Only dumb if you don't live in Ohio! I can't wait to get my copy.
apirk
If anyone gets a cloud nothing split and doesn't want it let me know. I could pick something up for you or send you some old fashioned American cash.
scottheisel
There will be 150 copies at both stores and each band will get 100 copies to do with whatever they please. That's what the owner of MME told me.
Dunkpunk123
Went to s store that the RSD website said was participating to talk to the owner and needless to say ill be getting hosed too. Dude pretty much compared RSD to the valentines day of record & vinyl community and said his store would not be participating at all. So I left my name and the releases I want just in case. Still gonna try though.
Guest tms2787
The BTBAM box set is going to be around $75? I am going to def pass on that. I wonder how much the DMB Live Trax set will be, I'd really like that but 4x180G colored? Probably $40.

Guest tms2787
$22 for the Gaslight CD/DVD? What in the holy fuck? $28 for FR? Unreal. I can't believe that the M&S 12" will be $10, there's no way it's that cheap.

dolt
What really irked me about the RSD pre-order list is the sheer number of releases with TBD prices. I'm only looking to get 5-6 things, and most of them don't have a price attached, so come that Thursday or Friday when the local shop gives me a call (that's what comes of being pals with the guy for 20 years) to say what's in, I'm bound to get nailed with sticker shock—and because I had to put in requests with him weeks ago, I'm obliged to buy whatever he manages to get of my list now, even if it means I'm broke forever after. To be fair, most of what I want are 45s, but still....

I call shops all around the state, many of which I've never set foot in and they've all obliged me by telling me what they have on hand when I call the day before RSD. No 20 year patronage required. scottheisel
The Joy Formidable Announce Record Store Day Single "A Minute's Silence" B-Side With Cover of Bruce Springsteen Classic "Badlands" The Joy Formidable are honored to take part in this year's Record Store Day with a special 12'' single release, "A Minute's Silence." The B-side of the single is an acoustic cover of Bruce Springsteen's classic "Badlands" that was recorded live at the Sirius XM studios in NY. The band recorded "A Minute's Silence" in 2012 during the sessions that spawned their acclaimed second album Wolf's Law. About the song, lead singer Ritzy Bryan said "We love buying music and we've always valued the atmosphere and experience of browsing a really great record shop. For that reason, it's a pleasure to be part of the celebration that is RSD, and we're very excited to share our vinyl release of this brand new track, A Minute's Silence." The 12'' single will be available in the US on National Record Store Day April 20, 2013.

andrewlucas
Okay, I'm about 35 pages behind on all this. Apparently there is a Portugal the man release available on some pop up web store, is that the RSD store? And someone mentioned a Glassjaw release. Any info on that?
