booms528 Posted July 31, 2013 Share Posted July 31, 2013 Kanye's garbage is more interesting than Lay-Z's new album. They're really REALLY different albums, but I like both. They each serve a roll and have a certain place in music. Kanye's is more of an artistic statement, more honest maybe, more creative. Jay's is more accessible, more "fun", much easier to listen to, better for parties, etc. Jay has always lived within the space of commercial mainstream rap and that will never change. It doesn't make him lazy, most people don't get too far out of the box with their music. Kanye, on the other hand, experiments like crazy and ends up being polarizing.
