Hairy Potter
If anybody in here has experience in a photography career is looking for a good job in the North East PA area, let me know. my studio (amazon.com) is currently looking for an imaging specialists. It's a photo editing job with consistent work and good benefits. My boss is having trouble finding good candidates. Its an EDITING job not a photographers position. Hairy Potter
go for it! whats the worst that could happen? you don't get it or you decide to turn an offer down?
futures
I want to, but I'd have to put a lot of work into curating my portfolio to fit the job description and I work 6/sometimes 7 days a week as it is. Idk how I'll have the time to do it.
Hairy Potter
She really isn't looking for a strong portfolio… I'm not even sure if she's even looking at portfolios. More like Photoshop skills which are "tested" during the 2nd interview stage and the ability to communicate. I'm not trying to push the envelope, just sayin' its a great job worth considering. fourfourtwo
I've got the dreaded "err message" on my trusty d80 so it's (long past) time to upgrade. D7100 or D300s? I've heard good and bad for both. Here's a recent shot from my d80 to add to the thread also.
futures
D300s is olddddddddddddd I'd go with the D7100 at least.
fourfourtwo
But it's a lot cheaper and honestly doesn't seem that far off from the D7100 other than the increased HD video, FPS and higher ISO when pushed to it (which are negligible reasons to me)
futures
The ISO is a bigger aspect than you'd think. The sensor handles noise better. Which is a big thing - especially since it's a crop.
fourfourtwo
went with the d7100 and finally picked up the 17-55 f/2.8. Stung the wallet but I got the d7100 refurbished so it was a good deal
