isavedlatin54 Posted September 18, 2013 Share Posted September 18, 2013 need to bitch about them for a second. ive had cable (for the first time in about 5 years) for less than a week. already have gone through two faulty cable boxes. Getting the third one tomorrow. fucking thing like reboots itself every 1-2 hours, a process that takes about 10-15 minutes each time.... and we were supposed to have cable in both of the bedrooms..nope, had to have a specialist come out this morning and actually get that working. holy crap, this is way more stressful than it should be. after a quick google search this rebooting thing is WELL known across the country and they have yet to give all customers permanent fix..... if this doesn't solve the problem, im going to lose my damn mind. Not to mention their recent fight with CBS which caused them to shut off CBS and Showtime (but still charge me for Showtime subscription on my bill) right in the middle of the beginning of this season of Dexter. they have cbs again. their customer service has actually been pretty great believe it or not. i think its because i flat out said "im not an idiot, i know this problem is not isolated, your boxes are known for sucking. don't jerk me around and just fix it." but yea, i dare them to start charging me for shit i dont use..... i learned at a young age thanks to my mother, to not be dicked around with by people like this. so far things are going my way. but i told them i have no problem dropping them and going to another provider. which i cant really do because there is no other one, but it seemed to scare them. abovetheearth Posted September 18, 2013 Share Posted September 18, 2013 its all we have for options here too....TWC. back in 2011 my wife called to cancel a few channels. we have that 3 package deal for a set amount. after deleting them our bill went up. so we called to add them back to get the bill back down. little did we know, that phone call locked us and renewed our contract until 2015. any slight change apparently in this area adds to your contract. my lawyer friend who likes to write letters and what not to call BS and stuff wrote them and we got out of it. fuckfaces Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
