codeine
YES! The only legitimate reason to have a twitter.btw as far as salsa goes Mrs. Renfro's Habanero is dope, I usually rock either that, or the PC organic. The organic stuff isn't spicy at all so you can devour mounds of it.

radiatorhums
That's good stuff. I love when comedians have some fun with corporate Twitter accounts. Neil Hamburger's are hilarious, but mainly because he's downright mean about it.

laralaurent
"Our lawyer has informed me that we shouldn't send you any product. And that blackmail for salsa is still blackmail." If those are the questions Pace's lawyers have to deal with, I'm working for the wrong company ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If those are the questions Pace's lawyers have to deal with, I'm working for the wrong company Lawyers are such squares. (No offense, I meant the lawyer at Pace, in particular.) The guy is a comedian, and you can't buy that kind of publicity.
scottheisel
As hilarious as this was to see unfold yesterday, part of me thinks the whole thing is a setup. There's no social media links whatsoever on Pace's official website, and as far as I can tell, they don't even have a Facebook page. Plus any brand as large as theirs gets verified pretty much immediately on Twitter. It pains me to say it, but I think this was just an extremely long con by Kyle and some of his friends. It played out too neatly, in my opinion.
IanRees
I saw something the other day that the notepassing one on the plane was fake too.
jerseydave77
The top of that link says it was a prank now. The airline one was completely fake by a person who has twice before created fake drama for twitter attention. What can we believe in any longer? Shitty Rambo
Randy Liedtke is hilarious. He and Brendon Walsh are the kings of pranking (I'm sure some of you remember the Brendon Walsh/Whole Foods things). I love their prank calls on The Bone Zone. I keep telling my podcast cohost to bring them back to town, easily the best 2 comics to ever come through here.

I feel like comedians do such a disservice to their craft sometimes.
Cartoongraveyard
Randy and Brendan Walsh are great, funny dudes. Love that these guys are using social media for something other than just telling one liners
radiatorhums
I don't really care if this was whole interaction was a fake. I thought it was funny when I thought it was Pace and I still find it funny even if it wasn't. The fact that he got a bunch of us to believe that he was in a Twitter spat with Pace is a pretty good goof too. codeine
codeine
Yeah, either way it's brilliant, I mean, if it's 100% fo' real then it's mo' bettah. But even still, taking a page out of Andy Kaufman's playbook and rolling with it. Still the only legitimate reason to have a twitter.
